I want a ps4 now but it would also be nice to see a PS4 in 2015 because it would for sure be leaps and heaps better just due to the tech in 2015. One fear I have is if they rush it out soon and also try to keep it cheap like $399 then it wont look noticeably better then WiiU and it will be skipped by casuals. The core gamers only make up 12% of the market.
If you look you can see the WiiU verison has better shadows and lighting. Also better color and less jaggies. I say WiiU wins this round:)

I love buying all systems. I hope all company's stay afloat. Nintendo is fine and MS has gobs of money but I do worry about Sony. I'm no share holder but I pay attention because it would be a sad day if there stock got too low and they announced they were dropping out of gaming. So yes I get stressed out a bit if a good game bombs.
A true hardcore gamer is not a fanboy that plays only halo or COD. that's just a pimple faced punk kid. In fact being a fanboy makes you a casual gamer. Think about it. I own all systems and PC and retro. Any game that dares to challenge me gets destroyed. No matter if it's Mario, Zelda, Cod, Uncharted or whatever. I always hated mechanical opening disk drives. All systems and DVD players and car stereos I have ever bought failed at some point due to that little motor jamming or burning out, so I'm exciting for the slide top. I own retro systems like Sega Saturn that have the pop top and after 13 years still run great.

i'm more interested in how is the cooling? Is it a smaller cpu then the 45nm they use in the normal slim?
If it is then it's a must buy because with removal of a moving disk eject drive and better cooling Then I will sleep better at night knowing it's built like a rock.

I had a fat ps3 Yrod due to the front loading motor breaking so I'm all for less moving parts.
Sure you get Nintendo Land but no main controller and no box and no hook up wires and It has some dings and scratched from when I knocked it off the coffee table drunk.

I want the big old fashion carts to be reborn. I love the feeling I used to have of slam dunking a cart into my Snes. No scratches to worry about and quick loading.

This makes me worry about pirates. My "friend" has a Wii with a 1tb exturnal HD to run his "backups" It was done really easy on the Wii with a soft mod, no need to even open it up.
There is no doubt it will be done on WiiU, but I hope it not into its been out a few years of profit. If it's cracked early and easy to do VIA external drive then that will effect NIN's sales.

You could daisy chain a nes,snes,n64,Gamecube,Wii,WiiU , ps1,ps2,ps3,ps4, Xbox,Xbox360,xbox720, the world most powerful PC with dual 690's and a Vectrex and only get to about 2.5% of Avatar graphics.
But it would only take half of the NeoGeo's power to run it 120fps easy:)
I just want all doors to be open in open world games and not all look the same inside. Oblivion, skyrim, fallout. yeah you can go inside everywhere but after soon it's just the same recycled crap over and over, cut and paste chairs and walls, beds, ext. I want a TRUE open world game like GTA and every door is open and free to explore on a super diverse engine.
