People saying the PlayStation 3 was disapointing?
through the years things have been brutal, the console war this gen was brutal for everyone, but nobody got it as hard as the PlayStation gamers did, sure Xbox 360 fancy feature this, fancy feature that. Yet.. the reason I've been playing my PS3 for so long is quite simple, the games.

I've watched the first PS1 Evolution video, the PS2 video, and now this one. Anybody that is trying to say the 20th is not the PS4 reveal.. oh god, nothing can help them.

Since X360 folk are being negatively vocal, I'll be honest aswell. For me the Dualshock controller is simply the greatest controller ever made, I can play any game without troubles or feeling uncomfortable.
Mind you I've been gaming with a Dualshock for well over 10 years, The Xbox controller although very cool.. simply does not compare for feel & joystick placement.

Word of mouth as well as reviews gave us enough reason to avoid this one, sales weren't as high because the game itself is a bit crap.

Sorry dude, but I can't take that seriously in the slightest.
If this was to launch on PS4 instead, it would be purchased day 1. Much like Versus XIII alot of hype lies behind this game, through the years little pieces of information & footage have been released here n' there, only adding to the mystery of the game, adding hype upon hype.
But if it lands on PS3 instead, it will still be a day 1 purchase, but I'm starting to think Sony will push this for a PS4 release, the more exclusives available early on the faster console...
Not really interested in fancy features, I want powerful hardware for the PS4, thus giving us exclusives that are worth while to be remembered for years ahead.
Sony just make sure the console is powerful, that's all I really need.

think of the PS4 reveal as step one, step two being the games, the reason I'll be getting a PS4 is for the games (obviously). Just curious how many existing franchises will be amongst the next-gen revealing & how mahy new IP's will also be amongst them.
Expecting fairly few games if any at all on the 20th, I think that's what Sony will have E3 focused on, we&...

I'm trying to get as much information on this game as I possibly could, this new Survival Horror element has certainly pulled a few heart strings, Finally something to live upto the Resident Evil & Silent Hill prime days.
The Runner - is like something from 28 Day Later,
The Clicker - is something.. new, far worse than any Zombie or Crimson head, these things work in packs & one bite or scratch its Game Over.

Looks like I will be getting my Survival Horror fix the gen after all, Those noises.. something about them.. Imagine your playing The Last of Us, your in a dark and small area, you think everythings fine.. you have no ammo, low health, no supply's, then you hear that clicking noise.
I will be playing this game on the first playthrough on the hardest difficulty, just as I do with the old Resident Evil & Silent Hill games.

Totally off topic but.. PS4 now has it's own N4G tab! that means it truly is close, 20th cannot come fast enough!.
You've got it all wrong, we trying to let the new folk play this one while saving the old fans from spending $60 or 40 Pound on something they'll regret.
We're supporting the new fans of this.. new series, just keep em' away from the Classic DMC :p
I'm one of those core fans, I'm ditching this one on purpose.. the previous DMC series had so much potential left behind, Imagine a DMC game telling Sparda's story, y'know that Legendary Dark Knight we hear so much about?.
Maybe some day we'll see it happen, I'm just considering this game the second mistake Capcom made DMC related.. DMC2 being the first mistake.
Some folk at Naughty Dog may find this.. flattering, luckily the rest of the team will seek out each member of the development team for this game & slowly part take in slow torture whilst those who found this game "flattering" will be forced to eat the remains of the said victims with a spoon.
