You get next gen features on your xbox one, it's better to play your old games on new hardware. It's not the same as 360's backwards compatibility.
I have to admit I was one of those guys who thought backwards compatibility wasn't something that was needed but due to all the re-release & remasters, it's clearly something people want. I also based that on the way the Xbox 360 handled backwards compatibility, but the Xbox One version is actually better then playing on the X360 giving you full benefits of the xbox one features & it's changed my mind.
I would agree with you if I knew when Sony's next AAA title was actually coming out, really not trying to hate but I believe people messed this gen by thinking they have to be loyal to Sony & put down MS by not buying their console at the same volume allowing Sony to not focus on steady releases of games but put out remasters because they are confident in the consoles sales.

Horrible and late article. No need to waste resources on hardware appearance all that have to do is keep bringing out great games & using the ability to deliver things the PS4 can't. Direct X 12, the cloud, new IP's & features are already doing its job.
I hate when people say Microsoft should put all their money into first party, like Sony don't buy their way into every 3rd party game for exclusive content that 2/3's of the gaming community never gets. How long was AC Liberation bought by Sony & finally released for other gamers? Double standards are disgusting.
