I don't understand why members are saying all this crap. Like yeah the 360 needs to come back and all that. North America is the console market king now. The Uncharteds and Mass Effects have much... MUCH more going on that Heavy Rain. An interactive cutscene is much easier to do with better graphics because of the processing power and memory required. Not forgetting all the moving parts behind the game, like streaming textures, destructible environments and "real time" elements like water, wind, sand, and the effects these have on the player (think KZ 2)

Expected at least an 8/10 for this game. Even Bayonetta scored higher, and that had a poor story. I did say previously that Combat and weapon choice may cause a lower score. That Visceral needed to focus on the Story and deep combat, mixed with puzzles and platforming... therefore keeping the game interesting and challenging.

I like Sony. I think they have done good things over the last year (except the PSP Go), and wont take any successes away from them. In fact I do hope they win over MS as I feel their games are more unique, they offer more to the consumers for less, I like their IPs more and so on.

Both games can live happily ever after. Yes Dante is very similar to GOW. Does it have enough to seperate itself? No one knows yet. This game will keep my GOW and action adventure fix in check. I loved Dead Space and fully support these devs. The stories are very different. The characters' motivations are different... I don't think the weapons will match up to GOW, nor the intensity. I like the level creator. Ultimate GOW 3 and the Divine Edition are on my preorder list.

I am a story whore. And Mass Effect has a great story, solid gameplay and character development. I really do want it to come to PS3. However, no point giving PS3 owners the just second game. IMO
I'm getting both games. Just finished Bayonetta and Darksiders. Start Dante soon. We dont have the Divine Edition here in the UK, only the "Death" edition, which is like a limited edition for both consoles. So i imported. SO I have to wait a bit longer. I really like Viseral Games. Although I am a big GOW fan (especially the pandora levels in the first game), I hope this game throws some puzzles and platforming elements that are challenging and rewarding to the player.

Advertising and Marketing... Look at Halo and Mass Effect. The money splashed out is phenominal. Advertise the games not the system. Look how well Crash Bandicoot and Ratchet and Clank were advertised last gen. Remember... " one of 30 weapons not suited for this world" That was a game that was well marketed and done well. See the game adverts imply the system it's on. So push the marketing of the exclusives. The multi plats will handle themselves. Let's hope that Sony ups their game...

I think the market has just sort of came around to blu-ray, gaming and movies wise. No one wants to change formats every 5 years. I also think that 3D is too soon. We just went from LCD to LED, now 3D tvs. Here we see Supply infuencing demand. Just the extent of this influence is yet to be seen with this new tech.
I want limited Ammo, puzzles, intensity... like Silent Hill 2 all over again, but with better controls. Will play this after GOW3 and Heavy Rain.
