I have a feeling this will be the last CoD game for many PS3 gamers.

It's kind of unbelievable what Activision is pulling here... it makes no sense.

Not sure if many people noticed, but Sony is throwing down the gauntlet by releasing UC3 head to head with CoD8 in early November next year. That, on top of KZ3, Brink, etc, PS3 gamers will have plenty to occupy themselves with next winter.

They're easier to kill than W@W, plus it requires a 9 killstreak (and you choose them instead of a chopper gunner)

Swore off CoD after MW2 become the abomination that it currently is. I had no intentions of getting BO until about a month ago, now I can't wait for it.

I give Treyarch huge props for trying to ensure the game is BALANCED, which IMO will lead to more people playing it longer.

I predict BO will have legs, and will end up selling more than MW2 in the long run, but not initially.

I think this was actually the way it was in MW2 with the Barrett/Intervention, but everyone of course used stopping power which made it a one-hit-kill to your feet as well.

To eliminate one-hit-kill sniper rifles from all multiplayer FPS games. If you headshot me, yeah, I should die, but get rid of .50 cals, use scoped marksmen rifles, and take off the damn ghillie suit.

They take their time and think things through for long term success. They don't simply react to flash-in-the-pan market demands, especially if it's not profitable for them.

The Remastered PS2 games are a brilliant idea. There are really only a handful of PS2 games that current gamers would want to play again anyways. Add in HD, trophy support, affordability for gamers, profit for developers, and the fact that it's an actual PS3, everybody wins.

Make sure you check your spam/quarantine mailboxes... one of my friends had his stuck in there

The game shows incredible promise. There are a few balancing issues that they will need to work out, and the spawn camping (especially in the first stage of Operations at the dam) is a huge problem right now.

On the plus side, I was actually kind of surprised at how polished the game is at this stage. The controls, hit detection, health, damage, etc, feel "just right"

I really wish somebody would make a good shooter without sniper rifles and shotguns

I always wanted a Chrono game for the PS3, then I remembered... there hasn't been a Fatal Fury game in awhile. Screw Chrono.

The Chrono games are probably 2 of the 10 best RPGs of all time (maybe both top 5)

Squeenix almost pretends that they never existed.

Of all the games they can bring to PSN... Parasite Eve?! Really??

I'll be looking to not getting it when it's free for PS+

That the next one will be Halo: Dancing Evolved?

I hear The Arbiter has some wicked moves.

The new beta is just to try out the new skill tree and Escalation mode, not the whole game (though you will be able to use the new items/abilities in the regular modes obviously)

You have to take it for what it is.... a step.

I love Macs (not for gaming obviously) because I enjoy the OS and build quality of their laptops. The Source games run very well and look great, but I really really hope games like Mass Effect, Starcraft, etc, will make their way over to Mac and run well.

Kudos to Valve for getting the ball rolling.

Looks nice and fun and all, and I'm sure I'll enjoy it... but doesn't it look like we've seen all this before?

So Wii Fit had sold, what, a billion copies or so.

The big question for Microsoft is "How are we going to convince Joe or Jane Wii to ditch their Wii and shovel out an additional $400+ to replace their Wii which they rarely use?"

Not flaming MS here, I am a Sony guy but I like competition... it results in better games overall. I'm really afraid MS is stepping in it here. They went "all in" on this technology and I just don't see h...
