well, then you could turn around and say that Battlefield got the same modes that cod have + squad dm, air superiority etc.
they haven't shown the multiplayer, and based on the singleplayer, they have changed alot. from a boring,linear shooter, to a more open,hollywood shooter (whether you like it or not)
But i don't care about singleplayer,i just get upset when people bash just for the sake of it.

The majority ain't affected by this, only the few people who actually play the singleplayer. So i have no problem with this. (even though i dislike the concept of DRM)

then again, The Last of Us is more about the relationship between Joel and Ellie. It's not the same sub-genre, it's like comparing cod (twitch shooter) to a Arma (Military simulation) Both are shooters, but not exactly the same even though it is the same genre.
