Have you played MGS:Ground Zeroes? that game have real-time cutscenes.
This is just a money grabbing move. They already have lots of youtubers playtesting their games behind closed doors, reporting about what's bad/good etc.
Why the need for early access then?

Why can't they just shut up and enjoy the game? Personally, i think it depends on the type of game. For example, Mirror's edge fits a woman because they are, not in all cases, generally more flexible.
While any game featuring a character with heavy armor and a big sword, should be men because they're stronger.
I converted it to h.264 in AE, which is one of the best options to choose from. So while it ain't compressed, it's alot smaller than a raw file.

To make it more easy to believe that it is indeed rendering in real-time / in-game, let me show you how big files the cutscenes would been otherwise.
Take a fraps i recorded as an example; It's 1080p and 60fps, it lasts 1min, which makes it a 1,4GB file.
Now Naughty Dog likes to include lots of cutscenes, TLoU had 2hours worth of cutscenes, if they were like UC4 with 1080p/60fps. That would make this;

The game is in Beta, which means the game have reduced the graphics so it isn't a 20+ GB download. The game will look good when it releases, just look at the trailers which use the graphics the game actually do have.
Why compare it to skyrim? All the Zelda games have been open world.. :x

that's true, but the fact that Visceral makes this game seems kinda different and cool.
Atleast they had alot of time to polish it, as Dead space 3 came out long ago.
Maybe Singleplayer will deliver? The impression i got from the 7min video leak was that it's supposed to be like how TV crime series, which i like.

People need to shut up by saying that this isn't a battlefield game.
Battlefield 2142, Bad company 1 and 2 were all spinoffs from the main series, and they were great.
This is a spinoff aswell, deal with it. I like the theme, and the fact that it seems similar to Bf2: special forces makes me a happy man.

Looks like the racing games on xbox one tries to make the car look good, but forgets the enviroment around.
Driveclub looks all around better in my opinion, but we cannot judge until we get some direct feed though
Basically no bugs like in BF4, hit reg is awesome, no rubber banding cars and they handle well, teamwork is essential and everyone actually plays the objective this time.
I think it will do better than the last battlefields :)
