GT5 Prologue I preordered and not only did it turn up earlier than it was meant to id completed C,B and A races before it was even available as a download... so BR was cheaper and faster for me :)

I Think as an option it would be a good idea as if you just wanted to pick it up after a few years youd bang it in and be playing straight away though as a new game 20 mins is nothing to wait and in all honesty I cant see what the fuss is about.

yeah Id be shocked if a PS3 slim wasnt made... I mean look at the size of the PS3? its huuge even compared to my first PS2.

Battery life really isnt an issue with me for the ps3... just plug a usb lead in (which ive got by the ps3) and keep playing... infact I quite often play with it still plugged in even though its charged.
A lot easier than messing around with AA batteries and rechargers etc... infact I played my wii for the first time in ages round xmas and had flat batteries... took be a good 15 mins to find 4 AAA batteries where as the ps3 takes seconds.

quicker they give up the better for everyone tbh. Even though I have a ps3 I wouldnt actually buy any bluray discs till it was almost certainly over so I cant blame anyone whos after a HD player sitting on the fence till then.
Primerally bought my PS3 for games...same as I got my psp for games not watching films so if it turns out that bluray is the future then thats a bonus in my eyes :)
its wierd but i still find the remote aiming in the direction of the tv...but i guess thats because im sat facing it so kind iof more natural to be aiming in that general direction lol
havent got a single bluray disc but find it great for playing streaming videos on my ps3 off my mediaserver... works very well

Yep... maybe im just old??? remember when a cassette player was an optional extra for loading games and any other software... if not you had to type out all the code before you could play it lol.

To be honest the main reason I want it for is the Nurburgring. 95% of the time I played GT4 was just that track.

Well im not a Sony "fanboy" in the slightest (everything I've ever bought thats sony has broke after 13 months - excluding my ps2..ps3 not that old yet)
I honestly think though that Sony have been really on the ball with the PS3. Not only have they managed to smuggle Bluray players into however million homes but I honestly think that they will end up selling more consoles than the 360 does in its product life.
