Once they get things sorted out, they could use it in the future for digitally downloaded games.
Places like best buy probably dl the patch for you if you ask. They did it for 360s to get the new dashboards updates.
Sony's always been the one on a high horse, with comments like "the next gen doesn't start until we say it does", they won E3 by running their big mouths, while MS concentrated on showing games.
Sony's one of the most arrogant companies around.
I think they should just make it so disc less play requires an online connection, and if you're offline you just need the disc in too verify it.
Believe or not, I created one of those super mechs, though I never used it because I was always a command mech. I did give the blue print to my whole clan though, so you could say I helped ruin that game. I've never gotten so much random hate mail while playing something.
That would be cool, that's how Chromehounds did it.
I'm sure it's like any MMO, you're still in the world with other people, but you can just run around and do your own thing.
I really see this company growing a lot over the next 5-10 years with the money from GOG, I bet they'll soon become a publisher also.
I was actually hoping my 360 would break to have an excuse too buy one.
Like KaBaW said, my thumbs always hit each other with the DS3, and if bend them so they won't my hands cramp up after playing for a bit or I'm holding the controller with my fingertips. Though I have long fingers and thumbs.
I really want to try the DS4, if my hands fit it better than the DS3, I would cancel my XB1 pre-order.
Runs at 60 fps, with 64 players on next gen consoles.
While I won't use it, kinect has a mic built in, so everyone still has a mic.
You can still play used games, that's been confirmed.
Having a controlled market can reduce game cost, like whats been done with Steam. It won't happen at first, of course.
Someone needs too take a risk too push forward, MS did it with only supporting broadband(which made it so I couldn't be online for a few years), Sony did it with Bluray, now MS is doing it with always being connected.
As with any risk, it may back fire, or it may push gaming too new levels. Only time will tell.
No one...
Exactly, If you're better than me, you must be cheating.
MS is the only one trying too take a leap forward.
This is actually something I don't like about the XB1.
I remember the rep system being abused on the 360, playing Chromhounds my friends and I ended up with horrible reps for beating people all the time.
Beating sore losers, equals negative for better players.
Yeah, because adding things to a console is bad, while taking things away is good, like Sony did with both the PS2 and PS3.
Good thing some of us think for ourselves.
While I willing getting both eventually, I'll be the XB0 first, because I prefer MS controllers and XBL.
If they can offer pre-purchases too be able to pre-download games like Steam, I may start buying digital games.
Having a game just waiting to be played at launch would be very convenient.
