I haven't seen it mentioned anywhere on the newsfeed. A search comes up with nothing on the whole site. This is the most recent news I've seen on tlou2. Just asking is all.
This is exactly what I wanted TBH. The original came out when I was in high school. I played the hell out of it, have done everything you can do in game several times over. I have ALWAYS wanted to go deeper into midgar. Make it its own game. I don't know how they're going to do the rest, but based on how the remake has gone, in my opinion, I trust them, and they will definitely have my support and money. I want to see how epic this series goes.
I'll admit I was disappointed at first. Then I watched Digital Foundry's analysis and am actually very much reassured. After seeing their analysis, I feel the difference between the consoles isn't so much a difference in tech specs as it is a difference in vision of experience. In that regard, I think Sony has the edge.
Good.
I really miss Jack Trenton. Jack had a down to earth way about him that was very humble and disarming, yet could still sell you the product and get you excited (E3 2013??). Then Andrew House, who'd been with Sony forever and eloquently introduced us to PS4, left. He left us to Shawn...I got the distinct impression he was a corporate suit that really didn't care about the customer or the product; only presenting himself on stage as CEOs typically do - with confidence i...
I'll get downvoted for being stupid, and I accept that, but....Square can go ahead and just take my money. FFVII is THE game that changed it all for me back in the day; I still play it today. Even if it was widely panned as terrible, I'd still pay 60 bucks just to revisit the characters and explore for myself. So, cash grab, milked DLC, complaint about this/that/whatever, they have my attention and my monetary support. Get it done, I want to play.
I'm an old man. Sony skipping E3 is as shot to the gut, no matter how you spin it. It's been 24 years straight, 24 years of presence and yearly re-assurance that they are working hardcore on ...something. It was something concrete we could depend on every year. A date we could hang our hat on and say, "this is what we have for the next year". Now...now who knows. Any date at any time could be selected. Nothing is set in stone, and anything could be announced at any time, pub...
I don't follow the game and I sort of expected them, given the astonishing budget, to invent a tech that would be nearly indistinguishable. Other companies with smaller budgets could then license the groundbreaking tech and catapult gaming as a whole that much further. Instead, while it looks good, still has uncanny valley all over it. Don't get me wrong, it looks good....I guess it's just really hard to actually drop my jaw now adays.
Always on I can deal with....I accept it from Polyphony; but their DLC is completely free. With microtransactions though? Absolutely not. N to the OPE.
I would be more interested in "HD" rumble if this article wasn't so bizarre. Just the title alone sets the tone as an "us vs. them" fanboy click bate article. Then, what I find bizarre, is it doesn't even acknowledge that the switch itself is supposed to be the game changer/the innovation --as in it is completely different than its competition in a way that hasn't been attempted before -- and focuses completely on this one feature that somehow is of the greates...
Guess I'll have to wait even longer for the eventual GT7...frickin sad.
What the hell could they possibly be doing that takes so much longer than the competition?

So edgy... :/

Oh god please acquire Naughty Dog.....before another company does :(
Ugh...Polygon is the absolute worst SJW peddling bs site ever.
This makes me sad :( First Jack Tretton leaves. Andrew House is gone. Now this? If Mark Cerny calls it quits, I'm done. Game over man, game over :*(

I didn't see much of a difference between any of the versions unless there was a close up still shot of jaggies. I must be too old for this s***.
I am??

MK2 was released in '93 there deno.

They put an apple in an orange. How much does it taste like an orange? I fixed the title for you.

Lacking that, sex will sell it. Again, welcome to marketing since EVER.
