Real hardcore gamers want to use a gamepad. So MS is correct in aiming for the casuals. Sony is throwing up a mixed bag of who knows what. Is it hardcore? Is it casual? Who knows. Even some hardcore gamers (those of you who actually have girlfriends) may find kind Kinect a solid investment as well.
I want my 360 controller for the serious games and Kinect for when the GF/friends are over.
