Follow this guide
1. Ensure PS3 is off/Main Power swich too
2. Hold down power button while flipping switch
3. Keep the power button held down
4. PS3 will default and ask to set video at Optimal to your TVs capabilities.

Halo ODST's game install time counts for 20% of the gameplay time. Well after you install it, at least you'll have another 4 hours of gaming, minus movies, minus loading, so really 3-3 1/2 hours.
