No Killzone 2 is the best shooter of this year, but like said...it is much different. One is a light floaty gun, chapter based, fast paced FPS,...while the other is slower, more epic war driven, tactical, but with bigger set pieces and team themed online. Oh and stellar visuals you can't find on any other console shooter.
So what's the real preorder figures, I honestly don't think the 360 will have a huge head over the PS3, even with 5mil more FaceBox 36DLCs out there than PS3s. The %of PS3 gamers are faithful to multiplat games than the 360 gamers, although they use multiplats like they are exclusives anyway. I don't know too many multiplat games that sold better on the 360 this year.
I suspect lots of 5/5s and 9/10s.
This game is short and focuses on the MP, has unimproved graphics, etc. (Halo 3-like), maybe. I am not a huge fan of floaty gun shooters, but I think this will have enough new content to justify itself. It seems to do a lot to hype itself, and of course it's COD, so people will buy it regardless. 5/5 are fair scores for this game, but any 10/10, 100/100, or A+ shouldn't be taken the same. MW2 isn't perfect. But to avoid the "MW2 vs Uncharted 2" shenanigans, I'll say whatever. Yet another fanboy war will rage. I am planning on picking this up for PS3, but don't forget all the good games out there. And Killzone 2 is still the best shooter of 2009.

I think the game play is fast paced and fun.
MAG is definitely a great game, beta is just smoothing the greatness.
Just want a smoother looking game. Not a floating gun, sprayfest like Halo.
K2's best feature is that it's a tacticle slow paced shooter, yet the action is so huge that it never feels slow. Biggest hope for KZ3 is has a great story. Maybe to play as helghast, where the story really drives in the KX universe.
Hope killzone 3 runs at 60fps. I honestly can't see how much prettier then can make it. Hope it had more gore and a diversity if environments out side a city and wasteland.

Not much of a deal since you get nothing with the arcade. The arcade is M$s replacement system for idiots who won't wait for M$ to repair their red ringed consoles. So they just buy these SD resolution, wired, hdd-less craboxes
LBP 2 is tough one. LBP doesn't need a sequel but all that content eats HDD space. It's an every growing game.
I finally put down inFamous, but it's not cuz I sucks it cause there is a bunch of Ps3 games. Everyone is playing Uncharted 2, Demons souls, borderlands, ratchet, and dragon age now. And tomorrow MW2, so it's just an overwhelming amount of games

woo-hoo, I'm still on the fence for day one buy. I will though, on Ps3 of course.
I really like the concept of Red Dead Redemption being a massive open Wild West. The idea of a wanted system "Wanted Reward Posters" bringing a Karma meets character development system to the table. Having the ability to do side missions with outlaw groups, locals, the law, hell even native american tribes. That I think will really spark up the western theme. No more FPS for now.
I haven't really seen the reason they haven't just dumped the entire PS One library into the store. Even japan gets classics 5-10 at a time.
I own both the PS3 and 360, and I haven't turned the 360 on in over a month. I renewed my LIVE just for Netflix but with Sony's BD-Live Netflix, I feel again the 360 is just on big ripoff. So If that's the case the PS3 wins.

Other than it's not up-to-par-graphics, MW2 looks pretty good. There is enough content that I can't see a reason for a MW3. 10/10 isn't what I'd pick, but a 9-9.5 average seems right.
