I have fought a couple mini bosses with force powers only.
It was because he was a white male according to IGN and Gamespot.
@TheDragonSlayer
A dildo is a toy. You think should play with that too?
The initial reviews were mixed but the lower 7s were fair with the day zero technical glitches and the 9s were accurate based on how amazing it really was content-wise. However, the 5/10 from Kallie (Gamespot) and the 6/10 from Lucie (IGN) giving their sexist and racist anti-male/anti-white wokeness in their reviews were unethical as all hell and that is just what happens when you allow identity politic to inject themselves into the gaming world.
Overall, I bought it day on...
KZ just would fit the lore. I think Resistance should return to scratch that MP itch.
KZ can still have an amazing multiplayer mode. KZ2 and Mercenaries are genre defining quality.
The linear cinematic platforming and epic action followed by exploration in a temple ruin world 🤷🏽♂️
Moss was like Zelda and Uncharted was fused into a living Don Bluth film. It was exquisitely beautiful and engaging. I got the platinum on PS4 after playing through it about 5 times. I really need to replay again for the DLC but alas I haven't (although I feel it wasn't even needed). It was about 4 hours on my first playthrough and that was just perfect. 10/10 VR experience and is tied with Astrobot as my top VR game. I cannot wait to continue the journey in Book II.
Other than the ending boss, I still think Bioshock s the best. It was the only one with that Metroidvania vibe as well. BS2 and Infinite were extremely linear. Bioshock 2 is great though and I like it much more than Infinite (which other than the setting of the world was way too FPS'y and less eerie exploration that I loved from Rapture.
That is true. Just don't want the meat of the game to be hindered by "replayability" features., you know?
I personally do not want any form of multiplayer in this nor do I want an online co-op mode. The original game was a 60-80 hours platinum and the DLC was excellent to support. I don't want to have to be forced into an online portion (unless they push that onto a sub-trophy list). If it doesn't take away from the game then fine but HZD shouldn't fall into tropes and marketing nonsense. Maybe they can add an online component that fits in the world tastefully but we will see.
Guerilla Games established two main teams a few years back and hired specialized FPS devs so hopefully, KZ isn't dead. It's a really great series that could use a reimagining. In pursuit of being "bigger and more open," I would love to see a KZ set up as a MetroidPrimeVania. The world has so much lore and unique locations. If they cut back on being "overly bro-military" and focus on a single story set on a massive planet (or planets) then I could see something spec...
Agreed. The CGi reveal trailer was cool and funny but everything else they wanted to do looks like garbage.
Ori is beautiful but it also has a ton going on visually that can be pretty distracting, which adds to the difficulty. I don't find it as clean as a game like Hollow Knight which layers contrasting effects to make everything feel clear and concise un its brutal but beautifully grim world.
Yes! And get Moss. Awesome games
Days Gone was kicked out to reviews in a bad state. After a couple patches, it was pretty solid (except a few tech issues). I put 95 hours into it from start to platinum (I never played the DLC or challenges) and couldn't have imagined there was so much amazing content packed into this epic beast of a game. I am looking forward to the next in the series.
You say that but Persona 4 Golden is trapped on Vita when it should come to current consoles and PC. I would love a P3G too.
Not interested in this but there are definitely some hints of Hollow Knight in the art styles of the menus.
The Switch doesn't have Persona V but it does have Octopath Traveler, so it's a good place to place, but best... I don't know about that.
Aboodigabah!

For comparison, they only gave Hollow Knight an 8/10. 🤔🤨
