The Wii sold mostly because of hype and because it was hard to find/sold out. It had the most coverage any system ever has had on the daily news channels. I have a bad feeling that they will discontinue GWG on Xbox 360 after this year. Getting 4 free games every month is an amazing deal but that might cause them to lose game sales. Alot of people will quit spending money on digital downloads of older games, thinking they might get it for free later. I hope they keep it for the 360 for at least 1 more year. I already got so many free games that I need to buy an external hard drive soon. I also hope A internet connection is not required to play ...
One on my friends has a shit internet connection and Titanfall is the only multiplayer game he could play without lag. Not sure if that is because of the Cloud or not. TitanFall ran buttery smooth for me 99% of the time.
It came out late for the NES. Super Nes and Genesis were out already. So i sure not many people new about it. The game is rare now days and is selling for $70 or more.
I got 3 copies,one complete in box.I hoard hard to find games if i can find them for cheap.

I agree. I am sure that Konami was looking at there bottom line when making these moves. Being with a company 20+ years has got to draw a big paycheck plus development costs. I sure Konami's profit margins were small considering how many units it pushed.
If they were trolling and are going to bring Kojima back at E3 just to build hype and get people talking about there games would be crazy and smart at the same time. I would not bet on that tho...

There seems to be a lot of young gamers on this site. The metal gear games on nes were just ok,that's why they didn't make any for the Snes or Genesis. Metal Gear did not get popular until the PS1. Konami was huge in the arcades, home consoles and PC. They were one of the biggest game company back then. Metal Gear or Revenge of Snake would not be in the top 40 of games they put out in the 80's and early 90's.

I agree with BillytheBarbarian . I good tube tv that has component cable hookups is the best picture you will get with a PS2. Even the Xbox 360 looked better with component cables on a tube tv compared to a lot of first couple waves 720p tvs.
The Playstation 2 would not of sold as much as it did without the Grand Theft Auto series. The good and bad hype behind GTA pushed sales and made it a must have game. GTA was truly a system seller. Xbox had to wait a couple years to get there versions.
I owned a PS2 before i had a Xbox,Gamecube or Dreamcast, but i played all those consoles more than my PS2. More then half the hours I played my PS2 was with GTA games.
It think it's kinda like when your parents try to help you do your math homework.
There is nothing worst than waiting 15 minutes just to get my ass handed to me. Now that match making is working better I have been able get some of my skill back. I quit playing Halo after Halo 3 so MCC felt so weird and i was terrible at first.
It has only been taking a couple minutes for match making to work for me this week. Any time it takes longer than a couple minutes I give my Xbox a hard reset and it works fine again.
I hope they get it working perfect soon before a lot of people give up on multiplayer. I wish they would make it so you could see how many players were in each playlist.

I agree with you that At launch PS4 price point hype and slight power advantage, made it the more popular console. At present time Microsoft exclusives trump the PS4's superior 3rd party graphics and is offering the best value right now. If it wasn't for Europe loving Sony and wanting the better version of FIFA and COD, console sales would be a lot closer.

I would love to get one, but i have got other adapters in the past and they always had a slight input lag. If anyone knows of one without input lag or has tried this one let me know.
