I think hardcore VITA owners would prefer tactile button inputs as opposed to a tablet of any sort. Especially if remote play and emulation is involved.
Kinda funny too see actually... I still got people defending the Wii U over here, constantly shitting on my Vita. If they wanna call the VITA a failure then they gotta finally admit the Wii U is a failure.

@wonderfulmonkeyman I don't think it's an issue of brand loyalty or being poor . The issue imo is that people aren't going to spend a ton of money on a console every time one pops up. If you already have a PS4 Youre probably not jumping at the heels to throw another wad of cash at a system if it essentially does the same thing as yours.

Let's say big N does just that. How many of those millions of ppl who bought a PS4 or X1, who already have a great system are gunna shell out another $400 bucks for Nintendo's attempt to finally catch up?

Wouldn't be surprised if they did tho. When everyone was hoping on the 3D bandwagon 3DS came along with that gimmick that everyone just turns off after the first headache. We got the Wii-mote, Wii U gamepad and the 3DS. Nowadays I wonder what thier New gimmick is going to be more than I wonder if they'll put out competent hardware
Even with 3rd party support and streamlined features I can't see myself spending another $300 or $400 just to play Nintendo games. I already have a PS4 with all that stuff. So there has to be a SERIOUS draw to get me buy another Nintendo console again

Lol @gamerb6 all these filthy casuals are gonna keep MS and Sony in business. New players in general casual or not will keep the industry running. With all of them flocking to the PS4 and X1, even if Nintendo has great exclusives the company as a whole will never be seen more as a niche systems.
