Couldn't this open the save up to hackers/modders? They could possibly change a few things in-game and be able to cheat online, ruining the game. I'm sure Criterion have thought of this but where there's a will, there's a way.
Hey, don't know if it will work but worth a try. Hold the A button down while turning the X360 on, that way anything already loaded in the cache will clear. Might help, might not.
If it's a cache issue on X360 maybe the old oblivion fix would help. Try clearing the cache as you turn your X360 on. If I remember correctly, Hold the A button down as you turn the system on, this will clear out all data in the cache. Don't know if it will work but worth a try.

I have to disagree, at least when it comes to Crackdown, I thought it was a really fun game, not much to it but what was there was fully entertaining and multi was a blast. The only thing against it was everyone percieved it as crap becuase of the Halo 3 Beta.

There has been so much importance put on GT5 that it has to be a hit, if not, Sony and Polyphony suffers. It won't dissapoint.
It's been less than a week, I can assure you that GT5 prologue will sell. You know this too, It might not be a system seller, but it will move some systems.

The only thing i can see is that ps3 has better shadows on x360 they seem jittery, better on ps3 but barely worth mentioning. This is the first game which is truly the same no matter which platform you play it on Kudos to Criterion.
Agreed, MGS$ is more than a good reason, in 2008 we have MGS4, Singstar, LBP, Possibly KZ2 (but if they need more time, use it), Soul Calibur 4 and Tekken 6 - What more could we want?
I want to know what your preference is? Personally, I'm buying the download, I think it's better for me (No Disc, Can load at anytime etc...) but what about you? Download or Disc?
The potential for PS3 in undeniable by even the most blind fanboy, but, do not deny Alan Wake, Too Human etc.. The X360 does have many games for2008, many I'm sure like BioShock which we won't hear too much about till they are ready...I do not doubt that PS3 is going to have some killer apps, but so is X360, this is going to be fun :)
XBOX seems to be the clear winner of the two main formats (X360 & PS3) but that will change here soon, we love us our MGS & Kindom Hearts, once PS3 brings those the game is over. I have both formats but as much as i love my x360 the potential of PS3 is undeniable.
Granted, it's not the leap forward most of us where hoping for, but it's fun, it runs almost perfectly and it seems like it will be heaps of fun...that's what we want from games, right?
My fellow Australian, I thank you for your insightful comments, however, I feel your one-sidedness may lead you away from the top games still to come, I agree that at this time, XBOX360 is the system tohave, I have one, I love it, but, PS3 is now picking up steam, it is going to become an unstoppable juggernaught, buy both, if you can afford it, this is going to be fun :)
I had this occur to me recently. I would be playing a game and the picture would freeze (sometimes just the sound would disappear). It started happening more often until all that would happen is when I would turn my 360 on I would only get the logo and nothing else.
