This is a port. Not a remake. There not going to automatically add additional enemies if it wasn't in the original build. However, they did say that the graphics will be better. So I'm taking a leap of faith here and guessing that will include longer draw distances along with all the other eye candy. So in essence you will most likely be able to see more enemies on screen though not all of them will be directly involved in combat at once. I can't wait to try...
I can't wait for the PS4 version! I'm a huge fan of part 1 and have tried part 2 on the PC. It's an excellent game with great graphics. Anyone know if this will be available at launch?
It is not mandatory. It is however a great addition. Do some homework on it.

First off are you really that naive to think that all the people who are excited on here are the same people who posted negative things about indie games in the past? I own the Trigger Grip and I definitely have to say it's a game changer especially for Uncharted and Unit 13 and can imagine it will do the same for Resistance and any other 1st person shooters that are on their way. Plus they are very affordable. I love the Grip and highly recommend them to "anyone" who owns a Vita or is planning on purchasing one.
With all the games launching alongside of the PS Vita, some of you are crying about playing PSP games? Are you serious? If you own a PSP game then obviously you own a PSP and if you want to play a PSP game the use your PSP! Simple math. The PS Vita is a next gen portable (NGP.<) and I want this new experience that Sony is creating. Stop crying and start playing... simple.
I'm a huge FPS fan and I'm not even the slightest bit dissapointed. You wanna know why? Because I have Uncharted to look forward to... Because I have Unit 13 (not long after launch) to look forward to. These people are making it seem like there are "no shooters" for the Vita. They forget that there is 3rd person shooters for launch... I don't think so... But shouldn't be too far off from launch. I do know that Resistance Burning Skies is scheduled for May 29th.
I tried the PS Vita last week at the Sony store in NYC. At first the analog sticks did feel a bit weird but not bad. We are all use to playing with home console controllers. I spent some time in the store playing some PS3 games and before I left I went to give (I should say touch) the Vita another go. I must say that from the span of about 30 mins the stick grew on me. I began to get use to them. So I think after a couple hours of play time, we will feel right at home.
