This game is one of the many reasons I chose PS4.

Why would anyone buy the Xbox One version when there's two other versions(PC and PS4) that will run and look better. The only reason I can see anyone buying this for Xbox One is if they only own a Xbox One.
I just bought lightning returns from PSN moments ago. I hope I won't be disappointed because I actually enjoed XIII-2. Also $25 for lightning returns was very hard to pass up. I've been waiting for price drop after buying XIII and XIII-2 day one.
I don't think It'll have the boost most Xbox fans are expecting. E3 is the most important thing for Xbox One atm. If MS fails to live up to the hype at E3, things could get real ugly for the Xbox brand.
Also if Sony annound a $50 price drop for PS4, this would basically devastate Xbox One for the rest of the year.

Depends on the individual you ask. For me It's actually only a way to help a very desperate MS pick up sales. In no way is this good for gamers. It's not a price drop. They're now charging more for only the core console. So MS dropping kinect actually comes at price for both MS and gamers. Of course most who bought it earlier will say they're fine after buying into a lie. They're the core gamers and Xbox fans. The ones I feel for, are the one that bought one recently after being on the fence. I'm not surprise to see the early buyer claim their not upset. They are mostly the Xbox loyal fans that defended most MS's early decisions.

If you include indies, Xbox One will get smoked. I see you're willing to play Xbox fanboys game of "indies don't count" and Xbox One still loses. Indie games are getting better and better. Too bad most Xbox fans don't view them as games.

I laughed way harder than I should have. Lmao, thanks for that. I believe MS kinda deserves it after telling lies about how DRM was good for gaming. It took years for Sony to win back gamers trust. We shouldn't go easy on MS either. I think they should eat humble pie for the majority of this gen. The benefit of that, a better next gen console from MS.
I think the kinect removal announcement is one of MS's usual calculated preemptive moves against tomorrows NPD news.
All it did for me as a non-owner is push me further away from wanting one. MS is not confident in their own product and diskinected it once sales weren't satisfying. Their job is to convince me that kinect is worth it, so them diskinecting from their own vision and promises of a great product is admitting defeat in my opinion. I don't want an Xbox One if even MS don't believe in the message they've been desperately trying to deliver.
I just can't take MS seriously in the gaming industry anymore. Who knows what they'll 180 next. Maybe no more cloud vision? who knows.
WiiU is already a flop, but these so-called savior games will only satisfy the current owners and a few who are interested in WiiU like me. A small boost from mediocre sales won't do much for WiiU.
