Not about being a fanboy but when these things, like cross game and video chatting and others are implemented what does the $50 a year truly mean

Yeah, I played this at a gamestop on a the PS3 and it was pretty cool how they have each character specialize in something that helps the other, like in lost vikings.

Yeah it seems Microsoft are going to rely on their marketing prowess to sell this same technology as the eyetoy. Sony obviously is not as marketing savvy as Microsoft so they think that's where Sony went wrong with the eyetoy and why it hasn't been a hit as it should have. And why not lie to the consumer and say it hasn't been done before to get more product sold, anyway Sony's motion control seems to be the best one out there as it seems to create a better playable environment for hardcore...

Not to be a fanboy here but hitting the sweetspot at $299 makes the system affordable to where the games are the ones that are going to sell it, and lowering the price by $50 won't have much of an impact as lowering it from $399 to $299. IMO instead of lowering the price for Microsoft they need to make more first party exclusives as now its not really a price war but a content war, but that is just my opinion we will see later this month of what happens to both systems. It's pretty exciting...

People have been waiting for the price drop of the PS3 long time ago, this is the time they are going to buy no matter what the other companies do. It's sort of like tunnel vision and the PS3 slim is at the center. I expect to the see the sales rise and stay that way.
Wii is a great side console to have, to satisfy our nostalgic needs.
