I wonder how many PS2 users switched to the 360 after the year head start and pricy PS3 unit. If there was no Sony brand, meaning no PS2, there will be no 360 popularity in the US.

You know I was hoping even when RE5 was out that they would adopt the treyarch zombie mode in RE5 where you are hold up in a run down house just like in RE4 when Leon and Luis where in a house stopping the la plagra from coming in, they can do wonders with those modes even have u escaping the house go into the field and board up somewhere else. That would be a great game mode to implement

Simple logic, you have more exclusives you spread the sales among them. You have less exclusives you have concentrated sales among them. You have less exclusives you can pour in more money for advertising for each game....see the pattern here, it's not that hard but we still get articles like these. And I will reiterate many on here in saying why multimillion sellers are considered struggling and the fact that we have many sequels to these "struggling" franchises.

Anyways the battery life is really good for national travel. For my PSP when I had to travel outside U.S. I bought an extra battery and problem solved.
man what an amazing game, I'm playing it with my brother and having a blast. Very underrated game should have gotten more sales. I hope they release extra content for it.

Yeah your key phrase there is a one year head start. That builds popularity and the media can take over a deem the 360 the next gen system as MS advertises the hell out of the 360 before the arrival of the PS3. So its not a coincidence that it still sell great in America and poorly in other places comparatively speaking of course. Which also why PS3 has been beating the 360 worldwide for a while now
Game wise the xbox 360 is the worst out of the consoles. What you look for is a console that differentiates itself from the others from their games. In this we see PS3>Wii>Xbox 360. What we saw yesterday really tells a story of what each system has been giving us: New IP>Old Exclusives>Multiplats respectively.
What people are forgetting about Naughty Dog, not only are they talented when making the graphical engine for the PS3, but the cinematic style of the story. A zombie game with a great story ala Uncharted, this has to be a first.

Uncharted already makes this one of the best launches for a system, I mean when you buy a Sony video game product this is what you look for.
I don't know about the living room, but Power Stone mops the floor of Smash Bros. I mean you actually get to roam around the 3d environment, and it feels less of a party game and more of a fighting game. I hope Sony's game is more like Power Stone and less like Smash Bros
