I don't know guys. Perhaps because i started gaming since the Atari era but i honestly don't know why people had problems with KZ2 controls.
Every game i played since then i learned to adapt to the games controls. Perhaps because of these times kids attention to being the best online player they want every game especially FPS to be all the same control wise so that they don't have to re learn a new control scheme/method. Its really sad.

It really does depend on the type of game you like. Half-life is ahead of its time because of its attention to details and it was quite different from other FPS. Still to this day. Half-life is more intimate and personal imo which is different from most other FPS that is about an all out war.

Both games are very very very different. Killzone is about the theater of war. Half life is a much more personal game with interesting puzzles. They really can't be compared.

I trust Gamespot much more than IGN. Gamespot lately have gone back to their roots which is great. Non fanboy crap that is so common to most gaming sites nowdays. They tell it how they see it as they use to.
I don't want to sound like a PC fanboy but the truth is if you have a PC that can run Crysis 2 then you should get this game for PC. It really is a no brainer.

MGS1 is the one that really started the Metal Gear Solid saga for me and was ahead of its time.
