I think I've become numb to gameplay reveals before the game is released. Been burned too many times on down grades or straight up fake gameplay. But with ps5 around the corner it'll be easier to believe it when it says "actual gameplay".
The Mountain (undead) could fit, but everyone else....sorry, no lol.
The game is great. Gameplay is very fun. The grind is always giving rewards now and patch made things way more fair. Graphics are incredible and who cares about story anyways? Lol beat it and move on to the competition or unlocks. The Krypt is really cool too with loads of Easter eggs to the past games/movie
Dead or alive and soul caliber has plenty of those lol. I love this more realistic/battle ready outfits but can't argue that some "skin packs" would be welcome lol

As for the unreal engine 3 comment, Injustice 2 and now Mortal Kombat 11 both use unreal engine 3 and I can say the HDR is absolutely amazing. MK11 being one of the best looking games I've played this gen in 4k HDR and at times could look like a solid launch title for next gen
If you're saying that then you may not have a TV with true HDR or proper HDMI cable etc because once you go HDR you don't go back (assuming the developers implemented it well like Horizon Zero Dawn, injustice 2, MK11, Destiny 2)
I think because that sense of accomplishment and the rush you get is lost. The devs had a vision for a game that delivers this and would be lost with an easy mode. (not to mention the bragging rights and trophies lol). But overall that was their vision and not all games need to include everybody in their approach. Hardcore for the hardcore in this case. Part of the magic of a From Software title
What really helped me is lock on and RUN around by holding the Dodge button. U can still Dodge while running and really gives u good separation from his grabs etc. I forgot I could run while locked and just dodged like in bloodborne lol. Was much trickier

I agree, but a work in progress isn't the same as revealing a game that will no doubt need to be downgraded to run on current hardware. If it's work in progress perhaps don't show the game running on a super powered PC with even prerendered moments passed as actual gameplay (anthem hub area).
(*Don't know about Exodus, I'm referring to these practices in general)
I still feel that's false advertisement and if they can't show something very close to final build then don't show anything. God of war was one of the few games that actually turned out better on release in many respects. Hopefully next gen will give us reveals that can deliver on final product. Til then, hope for the best but expect the worst lol
Well it's a totally different game and vibe. I love Yakuza but they are similar really only in setting, and Shenmue truly brings you into Japanese culture and a more true to life experience of living in Japan in the 80's. All the little things add up to really make the world feel real.
Nevertheless official launch day for most is the 22nd so I think reviews should wait for the day one patch before final judgment
But injustice 2 was pretty fair I'd say. U earned plenty of gear naturally and was only cosmetic.

I honestly have never had any issues with horse cores or my own. I've once and a while brush my horse etc just because I love the immersion and interaction. The core draining has never affected me whatsoever. Not sure why it's a big problem for some people
and for it's scale it's astonishing how minimal the bugs are. Bethesda gets free passes and this gets flack for an odd bug. But i think it's cuz everything else is so damn polished that any bug stands out more
There is creative mode which gives u everything and unlimited resources. So u can base build and explore. But that's always been what the game was about, exploring. This "beyond" update looks excellent and with full online/VR you should give it another shot
