because the ps3 has the bread and butter for that company, also known as...RESISTANCE AND RATCHET AND CLANK. those games are staying on sony platforms, and there not going ANYWHERE.

it dosent matter if call of duty came out on a new apple console, or for instance dreamcast 2, everyone is dumb enough to buy call of duty every year. no matter what console its on its most likely going to sell better than other games, so i say, killzone 2 is the ps3's best shooter.

i bought a 360 to play mass effect 2, and to play left for dead 1, and 2, also far cry/instincts.
i bought a playstation 3 to play littlebigplanet, killzone 2, demons souls, metal gear solid 4, motorstorm, gran turismo 5, uncharted 1, and 2, god of war 3, infamous, heavy rain, batman arkham asylum (to play as the joker) and pixeljunk shooter.
but i always went to my friends house and was im not going to lie, a little envious, i brought my 360 over to his house one day to show him my new game dead space, and while we were playing dead space is rrod on us, so he fired up his ps3 and put on killzone 2 and i was so fkn blown away i felt like it was a whole new next gen colsole, i remember VISARI PALACE. OMG! so later that week i shipped it, got it fixed, then traded it in with my collection of games ect.. ect... got a used 40 gb ps3 ...
gtfo you will not be able to play this game! ever! unless you stop complaining and buy a damn ps3. everyone knows skyshifty crapgamer, and all of you guys want a ps3 but are too broke/stubborn "fanboyism" to buy one. i promise you it will make your gaming experience 10x better than what you already experience.
One thing that's definitely improved is the melee system, as the clumsy system of old is superseded by a much more dynamic way to stab someone in the face. It's now context sensitive: creep up on a Helghan and it's possible to kick them up against a wall before plunging the knife with a further press of the melee button. Going toe-to-toe with them enables some gruesome kills, sticking the knife in places it doesn't belong like a Helghan's ribcage or eye socket.
