Would this be a good move for Microsoft? I mean just think about, why did Square Enix drop them in the first place? Is it because the Hitman games don't sell well anymore? Don't get me wrong I love the Hitman games but If Microsoft purchase them they will probably want IO to develop different games and not just Hitman. The only games they develop was Hitman and Kane and Lynch since 2000. This would be a big risk imo. If they decide to purchase IO they should also purchase Remedy.

Believe me I would love to see that happen but I have to agree with Abriael on this. Selling 300,000 units a week is going to be tough (I didn't say impossible) not to mention the release of Kingdom Hearts 3. I forgot that comes out in January But the new Super Mario will definitely boost the console sales.
Congrats to Microsoft. Halo 5: Guardians is their best-selling first-party game with sales of 4.89 million units. The Xbox One did well in the US and Europe.

I can't speak on the PS4 community but I do believe this game will sell a lot better on all 4 platforms PC, Xbox, Switch, and PS4.

Microsoft should try to keep this game exclusive to expand their library but since its publish and develop by A44 and Annapurna Interactive I see this game going multiplatform very soon. I see Nintendo getting this game as well.
