1. you dont have to buy the nav controller as long as you have a ds3 your good.
2. kinect doesnt recongize more than 2 players so you cant do 4 players at once.

You dont even need a sub controller/Nav Con you can just use your ds3 that your ps3 came with and use the move in your other hand
