FPS Resident evil never worked and never will ... i hope this mess of a game dont have any continuation and die as the first and last RE of that kind ...also who else after played FF XV with its over the top beautiful Luminous engine and world setting got vibes of a REsident evil game? ...especially in dungeons with its excellent colors , lightining and amosphere was perfect demo of a survival hor game, proof that a game doesnt need idiotic holywood cliched filters to be atmospheric and scar...
damn this game i bough it Day 1 and still to play it....stands there in the stock making me crazy to begin it but life obligations and a very slow pace in FFXV keep me strained...
to be honest the new style doesnt excite so much ...there are so many other average JRPgs like it that probably will be lost in the mass ....though i m excited to see the continuation of original VC series..at least the VC1 had that mix of WW 1 atmosphere + its good JRPG qualities that made it completely unique

i say its a very good game ...if only the developers didnt hold back their content (aka fromstart controllable party, NG+, future DLC stories included ..etcetc) because of the stupid DLC trend, it could easily be a masterpiece

agree with you both .....while i love the Manga ...i say Guts s story is already known and many times played in media and games, would nt be the best case scenario a new more serious -Souls-y Berserk game, but Miura is an unbelievable artist and creator could easily create a fresh medieval -Soulsy world for a new From Soft game that could even be the start of an excellent IP

hmm is this a Zelda killer ?? ..i know it is a bit different but it will be open worldish and with real time battles ...so it could easily hit below the belt Zelda on Switch especially with its PS4 superior visuals
FF Xiii is just quick made trash not only as an FF entry also as a game ...has no relation with FFXV wich maybe its not the best FF but its stands on its own very well and its a very well made game

seeing Guerillas engine and recently Luminous engine from Square in FFXV.....i wonder why Kojima didnt look first at home (japan) for a new engine...Luminous engine could be a perfect tool in his hands as it s an already hi-tech beautiful-visuals-capable engine surpassing imo many of the western competitors and closely resembling Foxengine .... although someone can say he may couldnt have the same level of cooperation as with Sony/Guerilla
