Man those translucent PS1 controllers were the bomb!
Well I mean even this demo shows you what would happen in real time, because it was recorded in real-time on current day hardware. A gun fight would be cool but this demo was slow-paced so you could actually see the voxel-based raytraced reflections and global illumination, which players would be able to see just fine in actual gameplay. These things greatly increase immersion, at least to me. Imagine a Deus Ex game with these visuals.
The MAIN problem with the Epic store is the lack of security. People have already been getting their accounts hacked and losing access to them. Getting their credit card info and other personal info stolen. That's unacceptable in 2019. The rest of the "features" are trivial at best compared to that.
Lol who downvoted this??
It's insane how they released a fighting game that legit doesn't let you create private lobbies or even just non-ranked lobbies for casual play in 2019. Like, it's literally baffling.
Whoa wish I could be as cool, hardcore and enlightened as you are!
Officially the best mod to have ever been made
Wow this game was a total disaster lol
I kinda feel like even if they did do it, it would just get abandoned after a few months anyway. Look at what happened to MWR. It was already losing players once the nostalgia wore off, and it only got worse once they inevitably added in their supply drops and new shit that the old game didn't have. They'd do the same with MW2 and even without that a lot of people would be turned off by how hilariously broken MW2 was anyway in terms of balance.
I love how so many of the people here straight up called it that it'd be a mobile game. And could they have picked a more terrible title for it? Last Idea? That straight up sounds like a parody lmao
"Live services" is something these publishers keep pushing, yet they keep bombing. It's just baffling at this point.
They did wind up making a rails shooter SH game. It was called "Silent Hill: The Arcade" and was...an arcade-only release. It wasn't actually too bad, it was a pretty by-the-numbers rail shooter where some of the more iconic monsters from the series pop up. It had its own story (which wasn't anything to write home about, but it was there) with a unique cast of characters. You can find footage on youtube and if you use some google-fu you can find a port somebody made of it wh...
Squeenix: "DO YOU GUYS NOT HAVE PHONES??!?!"
As a Killzone fan since day one, I can assure you pretty much every game in the series suffered from poorly-placed checkpoints, haha.
The mystery port was indeed for video out, devkit versions and members of the press used it for video capture from what I recall for press media recordings and things like that. I guess they would've released a cable for average consumers at some point like they did with the original PSP but they abandoned that in favor of the PSTV.
You mean the original non-JP copy that already didn't have this in it lol?
Yakuza and Sleeping Dogs are two incredibly different styles of games. Odd that you'd try to compare them like that lol
@whothedog
Just because a game dev tries to "tell a story" doesn't mean it's any good. This was just an optional sidequest that had nothing to do with the main plot. It wasn't anywhere close to meditative social commentary or anything, it was just some lame joke that at the time they thought was funny. In Japan in 2009 LGBTQ people still weren't really a topic that was taken seriously or usually portrayed in a mature way, to give you cultural conte...
This comment is like the epitome of virtue signaling lol
Anybody who played the original version of Yakuza 3 would know that this optional sidequest that had nothing to do with the main plot wasn't even considered fun back when the game came out. It was just an annoyance if you bothered with it because none of the gameplay attached to it was any real fun, it was just there for the sake of "humor" for some implied tranny to be a pervert for wanting to rape Kiry...
At least 8 had more variety than just "watch bad cutscene and then walk down narrow corridor disguised as bustling environment and press X a bunch of times"
I have almost 4,000 hours in Audiosurf. Sure, that's over a period of like 10 years, but still. If you enjoy a game you aren't obligated to cut yourself off for some silly arbitrary reason lol.
That being said, 900 hours in Fallout 76 is a red flag I'd say lol
What? I've known many 'stoners' in my life and not a single one of them believed a frickin' zombie apocalypse happened lol, what in the world...
