@SilentNegotiator & @torchic

can't say the same thing about Europe then I'm afraid. I seen some ads on the internet (although only a couple), but on british and italian tv not that much.

Why not market it better then? If you compare prototype to other games it was too silent of a release.

give them a chance to release and see how things go before you bash.
as for the trailer it is just that... a trailer, something to whet your appetite prior to game release and imo it nails it.

I'd love a good RPG like torchlight. Such games with their camera angle and graphics are made for handhelds.

Was going to say that and STALKER!

Think of DX11 on consoles as Instagram... making you feel like a photographer when in reality it's just some haze...

He was great at his job. I don't like the route Call of Duty and Activision are taking but this guy was good at his job. He was in charge of customer relations and from what I see he was good at it.

Sure Mr. Yerli, factor in the graphical enhancement mods your community has built into that equation.

The core gaming market as it stands may be hardcore, but what social games are doing, they are making these easy nifty small games accessible to people who otherwise wouldn't play. and the fact is that these people outnumber the hardcore gamers. so hardcore gaming may stay the same, but social gaming will rise drastically.

dude that trex made me really scared when i was young. i remeber in the 1st stage, instead of taking the rope rappel you get down the side of the valley underneath. to get a secret and the dino comes :D

played that when i was 7 it used to scare the hell out of me :D

edit: http://www.youtube.com/watc... this one!

imagine having weapons exclusive for dinos :D crossbows with various rounds, grappling hooks.

and a vast number of dino types would be cool also.

Compsognathus swarm :D

game would be in the jungle trying to make your way to safezones, l4d style :D

@mintberrycrunch

yes but that is what CoD is. it is a modern warfare quake type gameplay.
for strategic play there is BF.

it's two different games aimed at two different audiences. Both are looking well for what they are set out to do.

granted that it may offer more of the same but in all honesty it works because the market wants it and the devs can deliver it.

is it worth the full price? i'm not sure on that...

so what do you think the weapon is?

I'm opting for full-auto Gustav with unlimited ammo and no reload.... you can never have enough of spamming people with rpgs right ? :/
