Ok, I use reviews as a buying guide...I wouldn't buy a game that got a 6 or below.... Create your own review....in your head....so far with reach its a 10 to me...god of war 3 was a 10 to me.....but so is magic the gathering duels of the planeswalkers on xbl arcade...my favorites are MY favorites....to my 6 year old daughter "strawberry shortcake dreamland" deserves a 10.....who cares if you like it? It's HER favorite....your opinions shouldn't cater to everyone else.
That's something I'd expect my 60 year old father to say about halo. He is always interested but doesnt get how to use the thumbsticks properly.
Personally, I can't wait till john is needed and thusly awakened...
But they make me ROFL
"The assassination your Spartans dominated in Halo: Reach a melee attack, the so-called assassination. This attack did not have the Master Chief on it. Approaches it kills you silently from behind and hit the right key, number six pulls out a knife and does the enemy cold."
Lololol
I want to play as barracka obama! :-P but srsly ABACABB FTW
Ok...maybe there should be a separate section on n4g just for reach reviews. I can't recall this many reviews flooding the site ever before...lol I reD about 9 of them...all great. Yay for Bungie! Yay for Urk! Yay for everyone! Yaaaaaaaay!
I guess a decade isn't long enough...
Wow page 1 is nothing but reach reviews lol
What?? I have no clue what this thing even said. Translate.Google links shouldn't be allowed here...I've never once deciphered one.
You guys realize there's a 3 page article as well right?
I get a nifty journal and statue to put next to muh kitty helmet, halo books and die-cast weapons...yay
Hmmm ...I think any mlg team could take the elite Spartan squad....I have a 50 on every playlist....I don't lose often and I'm not a pro...
I just bought a pack of cigarettes that's more expensive than a month of xbl. I'll use that pack up today...I can play on xbl for $4.16 a month...its not that bad.
Way back when I was looking for a console to upgrade from my n64 I ended up choosing the xbox don't because splinter cell looked amazing and it was only I'm xbox...since I was an xbox owner I naturally upgraded to 360 when it came out...it was the only choice. I purchased a $600 paperweight when ps3 came out...there weren't any games for the longest time and I had to replace 2 tinkertoy controllers....I can literally break a ps3 controller by simply twisting it with slight pressur...
Amazing...
The animal soccer is a straight up copy of the soccer game in the old Angela Lansbury film "Bedknobs and Broomsticks". They had the king, which was the lion on the but on yellow team along with an alligator, a hyena, a rhino and boar with a monkey goalie I think...vs blue team with a hippo, elephant, cheetah, a kangaroo and an ostrich...no pig or bear.... Also a bird ref in the movie...in the movie the blue team was good/scared and the yellow team was mean...even the ball was brown ...
I bought my parents a Wii for Christmas and they love it. My dad was always a big time car buff and has enjoyed several racing games with me over the years, but had expressed interest in halo when he comes by my place...hell there's enough halo junk laying around to interest just about anyone...he tried and failed...not necessarily based on reaction time but really on the whole two thumbsticks and 8 button functions, not counting the 2 triggers. It's sadly beyond his grasp. He's 5...
Oh. Lol ok. Yeah I thought I made it clear enough I was American lol...meh.
When I'm searching for new games to flow, first I check out a few mags that suit my tastes. Previews give me a good base of some new games to follow. I usually track a few games at once and if I'm not totally convinced on a game by launch day I will check the scores. Generally speaking the scores tend to lead to a good purchase. Not everytime, but I also don't just buy every thing that gets a good score. I will almost always buy a game that receives the top score (10's, 5 star...
