Being a high-class and strict critic must suck... I mean you basically watch a movie and focus all your attention on all these things that distract you from actually being entertained and enjoying the movie.... You sit there, focus mainly on negatives, even the stupid little things that no other person would even notice, much less fret about, and then when people read your reviews, people are mislead or are put off as the reviews are subjective to the reviewers opinions and personal feelin...
Epic and also free
Weird how people are complaining and whining about frame drops for this game in particular, alot of other games cant even keep stable 30 fps on consoles either, take the witcher 3 for example, i feel like people are making it so much more of a problem....all i care about is them improving textures, especially the rocks and debris, also the mountains in the desert area should look less like a smooth slide and more like that grey-ish one somewhere there in the desert area, the kind of fl...
They'll never get it to 1080 @60 fps on the current gen consoles, if they do they will have to severely downgrade the game or decrease its size, as in physical map etc....a pc version will of course meet that standard
If you think so then you live inside a rock, much less under it
Yes, because games where protagonists and monsters stand idle of either side of the battlefield not moving at all but to smack an enemy once is so exhilirating and totally not boring...... Ff7 ? Overated, why? First ff game to hit playstion and first 3d ff so yeah, everyone is gonna go crazy about that (not saying its bad, its good just overrrated), also, that game, play it now, you'll get bored very soon, you'll be lying if you said you didnt get bored.... Also if you find ...
Animations is beyond any other game....cant say the same about graphics though, but only environmental graphics, the rest looks good
Actually the original article says 98%
Edit: nevermind lol
10 was also linear though, and besides, they didnt say it would be corridor linear
After watching that 50 min gameplay vid from gamescom, it seems that the first half has story progression that encourages exploration, like finding the tombs and that... Though dont quote me on that
Yet, people who complain about its linearity dont justify their complaints in the way you did.....that said, it doesnt change the fact that both are linear. However only ff13 is acknowledged for its linearity. Sometimes i wonder if people arent just going out of their way to look for faults or to make something out to be a fault. Those with the most power in this industry is the people, so why not abuse it right? Though i doubt people would actually be so low
Im gonna qoute what you said there.. "Open but empty map"..... Every final fantasy game which was " open world" (obviously not quoting now) was just that, open but empty, in fact, you couldnt do anything in it except grind and follow the necessary (im using that word for a reason) path to the next main storyline objective, there were no sidequests, maybe 12 changed that up with a few sidequests, but there were no optional areas to explore, every new area, including ...
Sounds to me like you were like that kid mhmm?
Also with regards to the VA's, they arent bad, but i must admit that they sound like they are coming straighy from the mic, and arent like they would sound if you were in an open field, but i have checked and the japanese voices are the same, also sound straight from the recording room, the voicing acting of either is something i dont care about since i think they are both good
It wasnt downgraded though, it always looked this way, only difference is the duscae region with less plantation, thats it, i know because ive been paying close attention to every single trailer, rewatching them over and over... The best looking trailer is the 10 min 2014 trailer of the duscae region, but i always remind myself that this game is waayyy bigger than any game out there, excluding of no mans sky of course, plus its physics is beyond any game made, no argument there
Bruh... The day one patch was gonna be there with september release, but they postponed it to further optimised and improve the game, in other words, the day one patch will be part of the game when we get it in november and that means there is no longer a day one patch
you'll wait for the complete edition buuuuut you're upset over the delay? thats some backwards logic
Im trying to imagine ffxvi the way the old gamea were....lets think here, okay about 8 or more characters all running in the wilderness together, just try to imagine how weird that would look, then you encounter a monster or a group of them, only four of you stand ready for battle, the rest sit out and wait, those four just stand there and wait for some imaginary bar to fill up so they can attack once, and then step back and wait for the other to do the same, the monster just standing t...
Heres an idea... Buy the game without season pass!! Problem solved!... I dont get why youre upset over it, the content is ADDITIONAL and OPTIONAL... Dont wanna pay for it? Then dont, just buy the game as is without the season pass man....
I find it funny that you say that when the interviewer was the one that facilited the conversions about dlc, and if you read and paid attention, you would know that they have planned the general concept, no work has been done on it, the release of the game has nothing to do with it
