unfortunately this appears to be another pc game i will not be purchasing.
i wasn't aware that batman and re5 were being sold on the network. that being said contrary to what someone else in this thread stated, i'll definitely be purchasing batman arkham for pc, have to make use of Physx somehow ;p.
it's nice to see there's more of a locational element than in the first l4d.
really can't wait for this title to release.
quite sexy to say the least!
we've also seen valve push entire games into active production after bastardizing the betas...
it really comes down to the fact that the average person has literally no direct interaction with linux based systems and to that length linux based systems aren't generally created with pc gaming in mind. do i agree with microsoft's prerogative, no. do i understand their mindset and on that note the applicability to the average best buy patron, yes.
i'm a bit confused as to the comments poo-pooing the price reduction. a $5 cut in price is far better than none at all :)
i've just recently gotten back into pc gaming and with high-graphic titles like crysis 2 and mass effect 2 on the horizon it's just in time!
another brilliant example of censorship :/
haha, soo very true.
simon was pretty fun way back when :)
i haven't been impressed by a movie inspired game in a a very long time but i hope i'm pleasantly surprised and that changes soon :)
agreed
agreed aiphanes, the wii is currently taking advantage of a niche market but as everything that market will change and demographics will move around a bit. nonetheless, the wii should continue to sell well for a while longer.
i guess you really have to look at the situation in such that the wii appeals to a certain segment of the gaming community. i think it's a great console for parties and young children and has some appeal for the involvement it gives the gamer.
what didn't you like about it?
that's the same reason that i haven't purchased a wii yet. even a $50 price cut might be enough to entice me into purchasing one though.
i'm still lost as to why this is pertinent to submit?
the thought of this even remotely happening is a pipe dream. sega's financial backing and market share as a whole is nonexistent aside from game development. there were definite reason why the original dreamcast failed and pitted against stiff competition such as the xbox360 and ps3 i would be hard pressed to believe that a new system would stand a chance.
