so I could have 48 usb 3.0 ports, probably more if you bought better usb hubs, thats just a little overkill.
Next gen consoles have nothing on the list of PC exclusives coming out in 2013.

My Pc had 8 usb 3.0 ports and 4 2.0 and I have slots open for more, you mad consoles.
A majority of that $ is probably from building their new engine, good thing about that is now they can use it for future games like Cyberpunk 2077.
Withcer 3 so far makes Skyrim look like crap.
They don't make 100% profit they have to pay to ship it, package it and advertise it, realistically they probably need to sell 750k-800k to break even if their going to do advertising.
They make a lot more off the PC version of the game though than the console version since steams fees are much lower and no physical copies are made.
@LightofDarkness Hopefully the new consoles have the technology to use the gpus power to do stuff like a cpu or they won't be able to do physics and stuff very well compared to say an i5 4670k.
It does have a gyroscope in it and I think they said the share button doubles as a move controller thing.
@2pacalypsenow it will matter 5 years down the road when your standard gaming PC has one of these in it so it can have real-time super realistic physics running flawlessly or worlds with thousands and thousands of individually rendered people.

That specific coprocessor (you also have a main cpu so combined power is 1.25 teraflops) is 1...
on that $600 bundle throw in a 1tb hard drive for the ps4 and like 3 months of ps+ and you have a deal :P.
How is this not illegal?
@thehitman not entirely true the cpu in the PS4/Xbox one is a piece of crap compared to any desktop cpu. It is basically an a6-1450 (a freaking tablet cpu) with 8 cores instead of 4. You could build a better system for $750ish that would be a nice boost in performance over the console though.
You can get an a10 APU PC and it will run games on medium settings and then later crossfire it with a mid end gpu and run games on high and only spend $500-$600 to do that. Don't forget your paying $500 for a console/cable box when you could get a PC (can do far more than do games and you get mods/pc exclusives) + a Roku 3 for a little more. For $500 you would have to find the PC on sale/used you can't build it for that much unless your getting a major discount on parts.
I wouldn't worry about it most of the "next gen" effects are already in PC games like Tesselation and SSAO.
My last upgrade was a 7950 last year and over a year later its still running everything maxed and it costed me $350.
CPU and GPU bottleneck long before ram does because ram is already very very very very fast. I have a ramdisk and my ram is @1866 right now and if I benchmark my ram disk it gets 12GBps read/write.
Ram speed does not matter that much for games so stop using GDDR5 as a huge performance boost.
Here is a good video on what ram speed does for games:

I am sorry but the bottleneck for the next gen consoles is the horrible CPU (its about 1/3 the power of an intel i5 desktop cpu)
The faster speed WILL matter for the gpu though it is a huge pe...
It is entirely possible that they will make a usb 3.0 to av audio out converter.
Looks like the PC version on the lowest settings.
Wait about 10 years then come back microsoft when most of the US is on fiber optics
