I remember there was a study a while ago where it said 360 owners are more likely to own multiple consoles and bladestar(yes the same bladestar) said that it's because 360 owners are true gamers and aren't fanboys like ps3 owners. Not even kidding.
PC games are cheaper than console games and they still get pirated. Hell, CD's cost 10 dollars and people still download them from the internet. People don't want to spend money. It doesn't matter if it's the best game of all time, people will steal the game. It has nothing to do with it being worth it or if they're unsure.

They're both great games. COD4 is far better in every regard imo, but halo 3 in general is a very polished game and it does whatever it's doing very well. COD4 is just the better game though. For people who are a huge fan of halo's "lore" or atmosphere/art style I'm guessing they'll say halo though. But what do I know, I'm just some stoopid ps3 fanboy who doesn't prefer your game.
LBP won't happen because it's published by Sony. Halo 3 is actually entirely possible since halo 1 and 2 were on PC. Same thing with gears of war 2.

I say HHG lies between the honesty of a user review with the professionalism and nuetrality of a professional review. Obviously IGN's reviews are a bigger deal, but HHG's coverage of games and even devs are actually interesting because they're very upfront and realistic. I don't think I've ever seen a negative PREVIEW of a game from a typical mainstream site, but I've seen plenty of negative reviews.
It's not pride, it's being happy for developers for achieving what we believe is deserved success.
Either way though I got me LE at the midnight launch. Regardless of the downsides of this gen, I got my favorite game of all time this gen and that's enough to make this my favorite. I'm not a bandwaggoner either, I'm thankful that my favorite game came to me this year. I hope this game gets as many sales as it can get.
Being a sports fan and a console fanboy are completely different. Watching football is just that.. WATCHING football. If you play games, YOU ARE the star. You're the player. Your role isn't standing back and cheering for people, your role is to be in the action.
Vgchartz got it wrong again. MGS2 sold 7 million copies and MGS3 sold 4 million copies. Not MGS3 with 5 million and mgs2 with 2. I don't know how they could get sales numbers THAT wrong.
I'm from america and I'd love an SAS game. :( COD4 doesn't count.
