Maybe he busted out the JNCOs.
It's not that people don't like to play single player - it's that people don't like to play BAD single player.
So stop being a BAD developer and make some GOOD single player, and then people might actually play it.
I don't know. Ridley Scott produced Nightfall, and I found it to be a pretty dramatic step below what we saw in Forward Unto Dawn.
I'm excited as the next guy, and I'm happy to see Spielberg at the helm... but that is by no means a guarantee of success. I remain cautiously optimistic - I just want to see the material handled well.
Well, if they're feeling too Sheepish to actually face their enemy, perhaps it should.
Well, it is Afghanistan. The bad guys in that region can be very good at... ahem... "combat training" their goats. #ifyouknowwhatimean
I couldn't agree more. Until MGS, I didn't realize that video games were a medium that deliver a story like that. That game will always hold a special place in my heart.
Cryogenically preserved talking heads have always been my go-to narrative device.
I have to respectfully disagree. In online play, having more than one gold medal awarded accomplishes at least two things:
1. It reduces the likelihood of foul play by removing the incentive among near-ranked racers. Having experienced it first-hand, when the stakes are high and personal accountability is low, people will turn into complete d-bags and take out their opponent in order to get that next level award.
2. It rewards more than just the top 3 people ...

It's old news that Microsoft's cloud servers are free for developers to use.
After how much they have been talking it up without showing us anything of substance, they sure as heck better be hiding something phenomenal.
I love that, despite their PR-coated language, they were willing to correct a mistake and retcon that terrible performance. I have the utmost disdain for Activision and their shoddy practices, but I will give them credit on this one for being willing to recognize a bad performance and fix it. Even if they don't acknowledge that as the reason publically.

I actually really enjoyed Ryse. It's good dumb fun with great graphics and a surprisingly excellent cinematic story. So long as you don't expect groundbreaking gameplay, and accept its inherent challenge to string together the biggest combo, it can be pretty enjoyable.
It sure generated some COLORFUL language on my end.
Anyone seeing this pricing should take a moment to consider the wallet-busting implications it holds for the Project Morpheus price point.
I'll be honest, I think I was spoiled by their E3 show. Quantum Break looked truly impressive, and the Halo Wars 2 announcement is a welcome surprise, but I think I was a little bit underwhelmed.
I mean, I had to find out via Twitter that Forza 6 would have Monza, Hockenheimring, and Circuit of the Americas. Why wasn't that announced on stage??
Hey, Killer Instinct has been there for a while (both original and reboot)
I am so incredibly happy about this decision.
I thought I saw someone under that rock over there. Welcome back :)
Good to see that the conspiracy store hasn't run out of tinfoil hats.
I think this comparison really just confirmed the nature of the real problem: Poor writing and directing.
