I think FF VIII was underrated. I see your points about the plot holes but most of the Final Fantasies have the same issues with not fully explaining how and why things happened.
I personally loved the futuristic and realistic look of FF VIII though. Hitting square and the draw system were a bit much at times but overall an amazing game.
I don't know if this number is correct but you can count me as one of them. Once I finished the story and hit level 50, playing the same Flashpoints over and over plus the arenas weren't enough to keep my interest. The PvP just to get better armor didn't help either. It might be that MMOs aren't for me anymore but I used to love them.
Generation of FPS
People that believe digital women on any level look better than real women need to get their life checked.
Nice of Nintendo to give people a remake they want... *cough* Square.. *cough* FF VII
Adding the scouting report (that 2K had about 6 years ago) to just online ranked games (of course you have to pay for it or get coins) and an overtime rule is their idea of improving? How about actually franchise features in the online franchise and better gameplay (like the tackling in Backbreaker)
This actually won't hurt places like Gamestop much. They will probably do something like lower the trade in value by the price of the DLC to make up for it. For instance instead of getting $30 trade-in for Madden and having free use of online, Gamestop will give $20 trade-in for Madden and let customers know about the $10 fee. This way Gamestop doesn't lose money, the game developers make money, and the customer is screwed.
I didn't even know it was still out there. My issue with it was the load times but it is decent if those were every improved upon.
