no problems on my plasma at all. i've played it at both 720p and 1080i
and i can tell you, the 360 version is less aliased. and this is running them both at the same rez and tv color settings. also the 360 is slightly louder at the same volume settings. i wouldnt go buy it again though. i am happy with the one i have already ;)
but this game is really fun. classic platformers need to be more reconized during this gen. good job insomniac/sony :)
and runs at 60fps @ 1080i. my thing was that some of the textures weren't being rendered probably due to no streaming from a blu ray disk. i hope so anyway...

edit. my other accounts let me get into the store and use the browser, but my primary account (USA account set up on day 1) doesnt let me into the store nor use the browser. ???????

playing right now as i type on my original psp model. freakin nice. so far i cant get the dash to work nor lock ons. anyone figure this out? i cant slow my flight either.....(usually the left2 or right2 shoulder buttons)
the controls are no where near as bad as the reviews say. sure, it requires alittle more effort than usual to play, but once your through the tutorials, its not too bad. hell, its the same when your forced to use the wiimote for half of your actions in a wii game, except they do tend to use the left analog stick on the nunchuck. there is alot going on at times on the screen and they have a decent system to help you make quick target decisions.

as for slight "blurry" image you may see from some games on 360, its probably due to anna(upscaler). try running each individual title at its native rez. despending on your hdtv(i think i saw a pic of your bravia xbr) you will probably get a slightly better image.
not sure where you got those images of the ps3 version of VF5, but i can assure you, it does not look that dark or "muted" on my screen. thats not a fair representation of the games graphical presentation. ...

the pc version running at the games seemingly native 720p resolution seemed to sport a slightly less aliased image. also running the same brightness settings in game and on my HDtv, the pc also sported a slightly brighter image. it was easier to see more subtle details on the pc. but both are great to me and i ultimately decided on the 360 version. my opteron@2.92ghz, 2gb ram, and a 7800gt card ran the game pretty well though. just at high resolutions she started to choke a bit.
playing on a 4:3 screen for example shows the face of the 1st little sister in the 1st cutscene. on my HD tv, the pc and 360 her face is not in view when she bends to stick you in the tummy and when she is talking to mr.bubbles...
360 or pc version though has yet to be determined ;)
i live in boston, ma but its kewl to be able to have hdmi without shelling out the extra 100 bucks for the elite. now i am officially a neutral gamer. :) i wish though i could get a bigger drive without paying the M$ premium. i have already filled up the 13.5 gigs that were free :(
the heat seeking missles the dragon fired in panzer orta on xbox was ok but fireballs graphics arent? (in a dr.evil voice "yeaaa, riiiight)and what is the dragon supposed to use for offense aside from the grabbing and clawing? i would like their alternative idea on that one. i am still picking this one up in hopes it exceeds the fun i had with the panzer dragoon series(not including the rpg one)
maybe i should get a slim psp to compliment my current psp....hehehe
for another good game that isnt a 1st person shooter. sweet :)
