The matte finish is a definite welcome since my little 12 year old cousin was too afraid of the oozing shine on the current PS3 and worried about damaging it. Oh and also the price too lol.
THis type is definitely a lot more adaptable for the masses. Easy to maintain. Now my PS2 owner cousin will definitely upgrade.

Please never EVER mention Halo ODST. We all know what to expect from it. Extreme high marketing, extreme high sales and extreme below par last gen gameplay and graphics just like Halo 3.
The only people who should ever look forward to ODST releasing are MS and the shareholders. ODST will be nothing but a 5 hour sub HB last gen game with graphics engine worse than UE3.
I have nothing against Forza3, Alan Wake, SC:C etc. Just not ODST, just no.
