i'm super hyped for Mass Effect. i'm not a blind lemming idiot that actually thinks reviews are valid. i've wanted ME since the first time i saw it. but for you to diss an amazing game like Uncharted and jumping on the idiotic train with the other xbots that Uncharted is some kind of Dude Raider makes you NO GAMER at all.. just a PATHETIC xbot. try playing the damn game before you criticize it, not just repeating what the xbot community is spewing...
you know, reviewers never decide what game i will buy, but so far the trend that i've been seeing (and you ALL see it too) is sickening. these morons are not professionals, they're just ignorant. when i see a great game, and i play a great game, it's a great game to me.. i don't care what platform it's on.. if it's great it deserves recognition... but all this crap that's been spewing out of reviewers lately cause MS didnt' shove it in hard enough is pathetic.

nothing can change the feeling and awe i get when i pick up the controller and continue where i left off in Uncharted. no game EVER had me stop mid-game to look at the amazing scenery for 10 minutes before getting back in the game. that's all i got to say. this game is TIMELESS. everything just meshes so well.
i'm 5+ hours into the game with only 36% completion only... 90 medals found/awarded out of 1000... this game is more than a game... it's TIMELESS!!! anyone, and i mean ANYONE who thinks they're a true gamer MUST experience this game... you cannot die a gamer if you never played this BRILLIANT game through (and don't be a wuss.. go Hard & Crushing, PWNer!) ... this shouldn't get GotY, it should get game of the GotD (DECADE).

Uncharted is one of THE best games i have ever played. i hope ND rolls out more Uncharteds cause they found treasure with this gem. 9.9 score from me. it's a pity that it is WAY under-rated and hyped because it is just an amazing game to play.
i really hope so, they did an awesome job on the firs MGSPO. good to hear they brought some of that gameplay mechanic to MGS4.
my local walmart actually has a pretty decent selection (and cheaper) though, it's not the selection i'd get at best buy or futureshop, but it isn't a bad selection... i'm sure i could pick out 10 easy at my walmart, guess stocked merchandise varies from store to store.
i look at my walmart selection before going elsewhere cause it's cheaper and it's where i buy my UMD's
as much as i like HD (high definition, NOT, uhh.. you know.. hehe) ... i have to agree with you... they should bundle some cool games instead... but Blu seems to be the first priorty for sony... or maybe they know something about ps3 games that we don't and that's their hidden ace so that's why they're concentrating on Blu at the moment.. who knows.. it's all business
would have been nice to give the launch buyers some discounts at least >:|
oh well, at least i got 2 free with mine... and i don't mind supporting Blu anyway, but damn, that's a serious deal... 15 movies, a game, and a PS3.. serious, dude.
yeah, i don't go by review scores or reviews much. i just can't afford to buy every game so i'll rent AC and play it first and if i like it i'll definitely buy it. reviews/reviewers are broken.
me too, i'm at 39% and the timer clocks me in a bit over 5.5 hours (on Hard difficulty). but the reviewers usually rush to the end of the game without looking for anything but the quickest route to the finish line.
replay value is pretty good, have you seen some of the things you need to do to unlock some stuff? they aren't a walk in the park, dude.
this game deserves way more recognition than it's gotten.
i was so hyped for this game since it first appeared at E3 '06. i still want to play it, but i'll most likely rent it.

i stopped gaming about 5 months into the life of the ps2 & xbox. i just got back into gaming after an accidental bump into E3 2006. Got my game back on since then and glad i did. awesome time to be a gamer.
but i dunno, i'd trade a happy stress free life.
this game is SERIOUS. it has everything that makes a great game and it shines like the sun. i've never had this much fun... ever and i'm only 30% through the game. eyecandy is amazing. music is amazing. voice acting is amazing. gameplay is amazing. this game is totally UNDER-RATED and deserves way more hype and high scores cause nothing will be able to touch a game like this in a long, long time. people just need to swallow their pride and sit down and play this game and enjoy the experience....

to be honest, after hanging out at PSU & Xbox forums the xbox camp really turned me off from getting a 360. it's really funny how immature these fanboys are because most of them are grown men. sad, sad world.
now you know how the ps3 fans feel about reviewers. if you can say that about him, then you just agreed that the review system is biased and broken.
