Even fanboy insulting me wouldn't agree that the lack of the almighty PS3 exclusivity tag isn't what's causing this game to be crap. I've played the demo a few times, TRYING to get used to the action.
The problem isn't the control scheme, or the fact you can't move and shoot. That's fine, that's RE. The problem is that the game doesn't get the pacing right. Not the zombies, not in interaction WITH the controls, not with the aiming. NOTHING.

But as bad as that seems, remember PS3's battles with the GBA? Remember, PS2 is still supported decently and well. No reason for it not to sell, it was honestly maybe the greatest system of all time. Can't say the same right now for it's successor, but the potential is there.
360 will get the same impactful spike with SO4 that PS3 got with WKC. And then, unless the Japanese start to settle for more-Square supported 360 over PS3, things will go back to normal.
I'm very excited for it. Just got done with the first one on my PSP. Great game, classic. Now that they've got these limit like attacks, dodge and blindside and the return of battle trophies to go along with nice graphics/effects and what should be a better story than SO3 ala no stupid twists, this game should be better. I am expecting a good few hundred hours with this one.

Looks like Tri-Ace has put together a similar game quality wise to SO3. GOOD! But again, the Sony fans are gonna rip into it. They always do and then say 7's and 8's are God-sends for the likes of Heavenly Sword and Uncharted.

Mods, delete this. Year to Year figures are meaningless! Declining sales should not matter when the well-known myth of Sony profitability is now all that matters! Revenues are good no matter how many units Sony sells. They are perfect. The 360s 300k this month is pathetic. I mean, with the price drop, it should have sold 5,678,991 unit. M$ is pitiful.

Well, at least I get my demo in April. But honestly, Square's beyond the point of Sony fanboy ignorance and the port blames. This is now simply ridiculous. We've got freaking DS games being delayed! Wada needs to get the axe over there to get this company back on its two feet again.
