I noticed Noel said Home isn't included with the update, but we already knew that. He never said anything about the open beta. I know I'm just playing semantics with his response, but it's something to think about. Who knows, I'm probably wrong.

If it were such a big deal, MS would've paid even more to distribute the content to those who don't use live. In other words, the content will be ok, but nothing to write home about. Now I don't want to downplay the genius that is R*, but if I dropped $50 Mil on something like that I would expect the option to distribute the game in stores. Developing GTA4, two DLC episodes, and another 2009 GTA sequel. I wonder...will Sony let this one slip through the cracks like they did with GTA4? Will this be the exclusive PS3 title?
I agree. The game, or tech demo, looks good but it's not groundbreaking or jaw-dropping in the visual department. I have a lot of respect for the BBC when it comes to delivering real news. As for the journalist that was floored by the demo...perhaps they don't game that much, or maybe he saw something we haven't (I doubt it considering the footage got pulled).

The PSN currently sucks when compared to the competition. Don't fret, Sony can hear our complaints, whether it be: In-game XMB, In-game messaging, Home, Dualshock 3, etc. I'd hate to give opposing fanboys ammunition by saying "be patient", but that's all I can say for now. I really believe the people @ Sony are working hard to bring every desired feature to the PSN/PS3.
I think they want the GTA hype to die down. Hopefully we'll hear something at E3, by then the PS3 will be riding on the success of MGS4. By then all of the haters will hopefully stop bashing the PS3 and play beyond.

First off, c'mon people it's an excel spreadsheet. Anyone with time, the internet and a calendar could've made that. Also, it's too bad they didn't include the entire month of April. I say this b/c we should see the MGS:O beta listed. I don't know...I think I'll wait for Sony or some other reliable source for the release date.
Do you think your little comments make you cool? I know we're in the open zone, but c'mon man. You can joke about the delays and rumors all you want. When it comes down to it, we're getting something for nothing. We're getting a free online service with an online social community. Sony obviously isn't pushing out garbage to the users; otherwise we'd have the incomplete, bug infested version of Home. Hate all you want, but you know sooner or later you'll own a PS3.
I don't think the DLC will be a Vice City or San Andres. I have no proof at the moment, but here's what I think. If the DLC was on the scale of VC or SA, wouldn't Microsoft buy out the rights to distribute the game on disc? Wouldn't they want every 360 owner to have an opportunity to buy this expensive DLC? It took them (R*) so long to come out with GTA4. With the new level of detail in these games, I seriously doubt the DLC will be another game. I could be wrong and I guess we'll find ...
