Gears single player mode is still my fav one.
You can't compare new games with old games. "Golden Eye" was huge too but not anymore. Someday KZ2 will be nothing too.
As far as KZ2, I am so much hyped for this game though. Game perfectly fits to my like.

Killzone2 is very attractive for any FPS lover. If you decided to be fanboy or whatever reason, you hate PS3, then please find your HAPPY PLACE on Halo Wars while we PS3 owners will be playing KZ2.

I am no PS3 Fanboy but I do defend PS3 when somebody says killzone2 is as good as generic.
It's like somebody saying Haze is better than Gears2 graphically. Fanboy or not, Haze is no better than Gears 2 visually, gameplay wise its matter of taste.
Sameway, Killzone2 while it is being compared with Crysis, some nerd can write its just generic and gears2 is better visually. Any human being with brain and has eye can easily tell Killzone2 is visual achievement in consol...

Which is kinda good 'coz they didn't find anything else to take point off. This pretty much says the game lives upto HYPE. Gorgeous GRAPHIC + Solid GAMEPLAY.
Anyway, I wouldn't be surprise if KZ2 don't even hit 9 on meta. !!
