i'm no 360 fan...hell, i'm not even a MGS fan but i hope this is true. this is what pushes gaming forward. sony releases mgs4, ms 1ups them w/ this game, so sony releases a game even better than ms's. thats how it has always worked, thats how it should work. i don't understand why ppl are so up in arms about this. when companies compete we all win
i'm not a dbz fan. in fact, i hate the show. however, i have always wanted to a great dbz game. who doesn't want to blow up a planet during a fight, then continue the fight on a neighboring planet?
i just watched a trail for dbz: burst limit on ps3fanyboy and it looks awesome. great character animation, destructible environments, and it showed what i think was a huge blast crashing into a planet.
i'm not saying ps3 has better load times but to say the load times are bad is idiotic. Orange Box has long load times but that is EA's doing not the ps3 itself. have you played Uncharted? there is 1 load screen. 1, thats it. once you load your saved game thats it, there are zero load screens.

no, it hasn't. Rockstar released a statement saying GTA was delayed due to problems w/ BOTH consoles. PS3 is not as easy to program as the 360, and Rockstar was/is having problems w/ making things fit on to a dvd.

thats right, the evil video game industry is trying to hide the content of games from parents making it easier to destroy your children's mind. i mean, it's not like the game box lists the reasons why the game received the rating it got....oh, wait.

in 08 the 360 has 25 multi-platform games and 6 "exclusives". and i used "" because half are also available on the pc, sorry but pc is another platform. if you don't have to have a 360 to play it, it is not exclusive.
so, for me personally, there are 2 games that are 360 exclusive that i may want to play at some point next year. wow, the money i spent on my Elite was well spent.
yeah, i'm glad i was not the only one who caught that. Spike just so happen to come up w/ a category only Halo3 could win. ms is so underhanded, they don't even try to hide it anymore.

i don't know what you talking about. i've had COD4 on my ps3 since day one and have had no problems playing online. i don't wait to connect, the load times are short, and i get no lag. i'm not saying you are lying, i'm saying maybe the problem is your connection or your ps3 and not Infanity Ward.
this is a big problem for both games. COD needs more than a year for development. and i, personally, will not buy another GH game for awhile. the engine they are using works and looks great, what they should do instead of making a new game is release more/better DLC for GH3.

it is a big deal. every game(such as Tony Hawk)that annually get new incarnations suck. it took years to create COD4, there is no way to make such a high quality game in a single year...

halo didn't set standards. the controller lay out for fps on consoles has pretty much been the same for a decade, halo has no innovation in physics(w/ the exception of halo3 but its only on par w/ todays standards), and the weapons in halo have always been pretty standard fps weapons. energy rifle, pistol, sniper rile, shotgun, rocket launcher, grenades, etc. it's all pretty run of the mill.
i have the ps3 version and have had no problems at all. no frame rate issues, freezing, nothing. i don't think i would give it a 10/10 though, it's more like 8/10, the voice acting is really bad.
this i buy for me. i love the series. the game looks great and i'm glad to see that they didn't go overboard w/ the graphics, that means more ppl can fit on the screen at once w/o the frame rate problems that have plagued the series. plus, from the screen shots i've seen it looks like koei added things the DW series has always need, like swimming and climbing. although, from the video it seems like they didn't give you control of the camera, which is disappointing.
no problems here. the drum set works great and is built to last. i have not been playing the guitar very much because i've been learning the drums. however, i do like the RB guitar(so far)more than the GH guitar. the buttons are closers together, it weighs less, the body is slimmer, the strum bar doesn't click, and the whammy bar is longer.
but if wolfgang is right and the strum bar wears out i'll be pissed.
to me it sounds like values programmers couldn't handle the ps3 so they "passed the buck" to EA.
seriously, if you are going to give a ps3 port to a developer, why EA? with a current record of 0-4(4 is a guess btw)for ps3 ports why hand it off to EA? why not get someone...whats the word...oh, yeah, competent.

i have a feeling that gh3 will be the last gh game i buy. gh1 and 2 i played just about everyday until the next game was released but gh3 just came out and i'm bored w/ it already. the songs(for the most part)suck. and the first DLC for gh3 is Foo Fighters and Velvet Reveler, lame. Rock Band has a great track list straight out of the box.

Uncharted looks way better than Gears. i'm not saying Gears doesn't look good but Uncharted blows it out of the water. and yes, the character animations in Uncharted are the best so far. also the voice acting was top-notch.
