I'm with you evrfighter, the young players don't play for sport/competition today, they prefer arcade games with that kind of system.
We have to understand that more people are gamers today, and not everyone is good, for that reason they prefer games where everyone can win, everyone can have a high rank with time, etc.
By the way, in killzone only the players with high skill finish allways first (not in call of duty)
