I'm sorry...but that trailer wasn't that showing. I dont understand how this could be the first game to really make him want to buy a ps3? I would of picked atleast uncharted 2 to make me get a ps3. But whatever...The last of Us is going to be amazing.

MGO on mgs3 is good fun though. Same with portable ops. I haven't played MGO on mgs4 yet.

Drop the vita? What are you talking about? The Vita is the only handheld that has really looked epic. The graphics and franchises that we all love are going to be on the vita. Someone said it up higher, but is this written by someone at Apple?

The colors are soooooo off imo. It's not a Hideo Kojima game, and you can see that. It's wayyyy to colorful and I don't care much for it anyway. I dunno, I was gonna give it a chance but this isn't even metal gear anymore.

Except...Kojima has said it wasn't cannon, and its a spin off. This is hack and slash. Not stealth. Portalable ops plus, is the same as port ops, except extras. And, I'm 95% sure its just a spin off, and not cannon. You forgot about Metal Gear Solid VR missions, and the 2nd releases of mgs2 & 3. Those extras, weren't cannon as well. Annnnnd the NES verisons weren't really cannon either.

I don't understand why anyone thinks its cannon, just because it takes place after mgs4. It just uses an outcome, and its just suppose to be a fun game. Not really relevent to the MGS series.
It's a spin off, not cannon to the story at all. Therefore it just uses whatever happened at the end of mgs4 as their universe.
i think he was more than pressured by microsoft to make an announcement.
