The Super Nintendo and Sega Genesis had Waaay more technical steam than the 3DO.
I don't see the Ps3 offering anything greater or less than anything on the 360....while it toots bigger specs with Blu Ray I still don't find the games more compelling than games like Fable2, Mass Effect, Fallout, Oblivion, Call of Duty4, and several other games I can't even think of off the top of the head.

Prototype is more open world and alive and the gameplay has more depth than just shooting lightning, gliding, and climbing.
This city in inFamous is desolate dark and the fights look isolated.
You fly in helicopters and the city is at your disposal in Prototype.

I know a guy that mods 360's...and he sells all games for $10 a piece.
In these economic times not having to drop $60 on a game you want is very tempting especially when your only paying $10 bucks.
But yeah MSFT will NEVER figure out how to catch a pirated game once it's stealth ready.

If another blockbuster Ps3 title sells less than stellar I wouldn't be surprised if Sony initiates a self detonation sequence in all Ps3's to get back at the non cooperative install base.
I feel bad for any of the Ps3's new IP's to come.
Killzone2's success shows that there fanbase pays no attention and has no interest.
Most of these games are from Sony first party studios so the luxury of pulling the plug or going multiplat is no option for these devs there being slaved and screwed unless there remaking a popular franchise.
So they work these years only to see a profit so far down the road that it isn't beneficial anymore.
Sony's install base is riddled with non gaming lackeys and people who don't even care about its exclusives and features to come.
Which is why anything Sony tries to do fails.

I've had this game since Saturday it has its weird moments but overall is a well thought out game with a great mob feel.
It's worth picking up if you were a fan of the first one.
For all those who are worrying if raiding warehouses and robbing banks are freaking insanely hard as they were in part 1 your gonna be a little disappointed.
Combat is fun and gruesome....the execution with your fists is hilarious.

It's very tempting when someone offers you 12games for 100$ and sometimes gets games days before it hits shelves.
For instance I was playing GTAIV, Halo3, Gears of War2, etc etc days before it even hit the shelves only for $10 smackeroos.
$60+tax for 1 game just isn't justifiable anymore in these times.
