@orangepowerz thank you. Thats exactly what I thought. Faster leveling also eliminates you having a ton of out dated guns and equipment. This game is like borderlands but without you having to go try and find the same gun you like at a higher level.
I agree 100% that leveling is just filler. You can also experience an entire class fully without wasting a week leveling them up.
You cant get a PC that does every game consoles do, I'm sure you've heard of exclusives. This is a rather stupid debate honestly. I've played well over 10 games in the past few months without dropping a dime. I'm a ps+ member. I believe both platforms have their merits, you can certainly save money no matter what system you prefer. Consoles have used games and good discounts too. PSN just had a flash sale for easter and currently is running a 30 to 40% discount on batman games...
Im a mass effect fan and I'd get this if they improved loading times and frame rate, but lets be honest they're just going to port the game over. I cant think of a single person that has a ps4 or xbone that didn't own a ps3 or 360, and this is already available on both consoles. This seems like a cheap cash in to me.
Im not thrilled with the games this month but I am still going to give them a chance. There are always games that surprise you (mercenary kings, hotline miami, dont starve.)
My view on this repackaging issue is that I dont think it costs studios a lot of time to up the resolution of a game, so that means they generate extra sales by reselling the game. Financially it makes sense.
I didnt pick this up for the ps3 so I will get it when the price (if it's $60) drops. I wouldnt pay full price for the same game thats available on the ps3 even though I would rather play it on my ps4.
@agent. I dont think you played infamous second son. Those are not delsin's motivations. I understand what you mean and the story does fall victim to a lot of tropes and stereotypes, but I would say it was an above average story for the genre.
One rather odd thing this game made me think about was how bad I want a ps4 god of war game. Just playing this beautiful game made me excited for the games that are coming.

I can't be the only person that was disappointed with the final boss battle. It was nothing more than a tutorial and made me feel like I had wasted my time developing the other powers. Other than that I love the game, and the support it gets.
I also thought this would be a great game for a mass effect type multiplayer. This would require a ton of work though.
I've used it to find my car keys in the dark.
Battleaxe. While I do agree with your other points I don't know what you mean by second generation without bc. My snes didn't play nes games neither did the n64 or gamecube going backwards. My dream cast didn't play genesis games etc... I don't mind that the ps4 doesn't play ps3 games. I have them right next to each other if I want to play one I just change the imput. I do like your game selection. I just feel like most companies haven't had the chance to optimize their games for the ps4. I feel like we're just paying for rehashes and ports. I enjoyed ac4 on the ps4 too but you want to feel like you're getting that next gen feel from a game. I know infamous will deliver this better than the other games mentioned on the list.
Infamous is the only game not available on last gen systems. Is this metal gear even a complete game? I'm still probably going to get it but I'm dying for the Phantom pain. I'm also waiting for trine to be discounted a little.
I'll be quite honest I think steam machines are going to fail. While do think they're great it might be too late to get in. The cheapest one I've heard of is about 500 but the disparaging thing to me is that all 75 million users already own a pc that does the same thing. Would people rebuy a pc when the one they have is fine or can be upgraded cheaper? I'm just filled with doubt but I wish it the best.

I hate to agree with this statement but I do. I was hoping for an rpg with vast expansive locals. The ftp model doesn't lend itself well to story driven games. I think anyone would have payed for a full game with a broader approach. It is still early so I hope for the best.

I have yet to decide if I like this system. The roster is lite with 8 characters and there is not much to the game 20 is for all 8. If you want everything it's 40 that sounds good too, but what if a season comes out in 3 months that's either 60 for 16 characters or 80. However if the season releases next year it wouldn't be as bad but 8 characters for a year would get stagnant.

Coolest thing about the ds4 is I can charge it with my phone charger. I use a samsung galaxy s4. I know most android phones use the same charge cable these days.
I also charge my phone on the ps4 if I left my phone charger at work. I love it.
