FFXIII was in developement for the PS3 for about 2 years before they announced the 360 version, which we all know is going to be a port, its going to have more than 2 disc's. I imagine with all this time that that they have to make it, the game is going to be great, the demo itself gave me an excitement over the possibilities of the game.

I am a 360 owner and from all the media on this site I would think that the ps3 never fails, yet this article is riddled with people who have had a ps3 replaced. To think I was going to buy one without a warranty.

graphics and power matter, but you people think like consumers. Hell you could have a game thats bigger in size than RE5 it could look better and play better, but it takes you an extra 2 years to make. I dont know if you know this, but games arent free to make, then when you release it, it has mediocre sales and you need to recoup losses.
People look at it this way, I can make a game that looks and plays as good as RE5 release it for both systems, and have a better chance at pen...

you hit the nail on the head. I agree the ps3 has more power, and the ps3 can make better looking games. The problem is if 3rd party devs will make the games that it deserves. However you are fooling yourself if you think Resistance looks better than gears, those are some major blinders you have on. Dead rising has been remade for the wii and its not the same game, its got low scores a new control scheme, and apparently has lost its charm.
Bioshock was actually a ps3 game that came to the 360 first and lost planet came to the ps3 a year later....

they mention BRD so it's not like they dont know about it. I think the guy meant to write 5- 10 gigs on a dvd. He might have just added an extra zero which makes more sense than adding an extra 25 gigs to a BRD.
guess I better pick up my sub to gamefly again. I only have a 360 and Im thinking Assassins creed 2 looks good, the halo odst, bioshock 2, want the lost and damned dlc, thats all ready 200 bucks. I hope mass effect 2 or alan wake dont come out. We have one expensive hobby here. I allready spent money on RE5 and SF4 this year. I might have to go back to d&d.

it felt like a good old jrpg and im a fan of those, so if you dont like it thats your opinion. I will say this that if the games square has been comming out with were more simmilar to what mystwalker has done, less people would complain.
what I find funny is how the PS3 fanboys count the PC as a console only when they take away an exclusive from microsoft. So people on this site dont believe that there are any games exclusive to the PC. Like the witcher, sins of a solar empire, wow. The writer of this article doesnt believe that the PC is a console or is it that there are no exclusive PC games. Either way I didnt see a bar for it.
OMG I freaking agree with you 100 percent on this one. I loved RE5 and havent had a problem with it. Im glad that it didnt control like every other game I've played and I didnt find the controls a hindrance at all. I didnt have the connection issues this guy has at all.

I usually like a link when people make ridiculous accusations. What you must not know about retail is what I just stated that retailers take returns as a loss so it doesnt equal out to two sales, for the most part the numbers are ass accurate as you can get. I would just like to see where everyone gets the revenue numbers for companies as a total. I only see it mentioned when its a fiscal difference in favor of sony.
