Generally EA likes to gravitate more towards the PS3 with certain things like they allowed PS3 to be the lead console for Dante's Inferno. They probably use the PS3 more or find it more reliable, idk.

I don't think they were paid but I'm also not too sure if it was a good idea inviting a whole bunch celebs that know little or nothing at all about. Some of the celeb thought they were showing entirely new XBOX console. I really think they should have done something more quiet with journalist and fewer celebs.

It seems as though Sony has the upper hand in the Motion Controls as well, I'm glad to see people called it a "me too" or "look what we got" move by Sony. I still wanna see what Microsoft will pull off with Kinect.
How would they Simulate or execute running with this thing? I'm pretty sure people won't want to run into their T.V.s while playing. If nothing else I want them to tell me that during their conference.
We should also take into accountability that a game like Bulletstorm, which is developed by People can fly/Epic more than likely will be shown on Microsoft's stage, Epic as you can see gravitates more towards the 360 than PS3. You have to remember 360's Back door deals, not trying to make them sound like an evil mustache twirling villain but that's what you have remember. MS get 3rd parties to do a lot of work.
Sony is spear heading E3 with the titles they revealed in the last few weeks. So two new console models? Not to mention their rumors which may or may not be answered. That speaks for it's self.
My only question is "was it built with 3D in mind or was 3D just put in there?" I'm sure it's not a difficult feat to adopt 3D into this game but some may see this a "gimmick" to further promote the game.
