xfire works incredibly for all of my friends that have it. It may not reach live at the beginnning, but over time the two services will probably equal eachother with a few benefits on both sides.

Dude, that picture was awesome...but i seriously think we should lay off the game. GOW will have incredible graphics...but the gameplay will lack quite a bit i'm sure. I will play it when it comes out though...my sister's boyfriend has a 360 and i play his to see if i like some games or not. So far we have: Dead Rising, GRAW, COD2, and Tomb Raider: Legend. That's about it though. All very good games too...

dude, 1080p will be on both systems, but only one of those systems can play games on a high-definition disc. Developers WON'T release games on hd-dvd...that would alienate all people without the hd-dvd add-on. So, you are willing to pay for a system, hdmi cable, hd-dvd add-on, and a 1080p tv?

It's a completely different team doing COD3 though. You have to take that into account. If you compare it to COD2, which was EPIC, you may be underwhelmed. COD2 was a rare gem. There's already TOO MANY WWII games out there!!!

That's great and all...but even if games release on HD-DVD on the 360...you are all going to have to buy that freaking add-on. Developers just won't do that! Haven't you heard that resistance could hit upwards of 35 gigs by launch? It's uncompressed sure, but imagine oblivion uncompressed...with way more content and less load times<due to a harddrive in EVERY ps3...
Cuz they make quality products. Sure, they're expensive, but it's so worth it. I've never had a Sony product fail me.
